"Assuming that a nearly naked woman (Quiet from MGSV) is inherently attractive or "sexy" is problematic on SO many levels"

Is Dobby Bear a closeted homosexual all of a sudden? I mean no one would really care at this point if he was secretly gay though he would get bashed for being so in denial about it however!

Also, the lady from MSGV is not quote unquote "nearly naked" unless I missed something that Dobby Bear apparently didn't!

SO problematic

This irks me to no end. Dobby is such a fucking poster boy for SJ, i can envision him scrounging his forehead and stroking his beard while telling us poor uninformed plebs how problematic stuff is. Thanks for the pat on the head oh enlightened one, now get back to drawing lesbians exploding.

This is your SJW.

Unacceptable.jpg

It's kinda rapey... why am I not surprised?
Guessing by the expression on her face, the blonde chick has been stabbed in the back by a fucking pitchfork.
Jesus, by adding detail, Dobson managed to completely mess up her face, she now looks like a bigger version of the Espers from Akira...
I can respect Dobson's older work, despite the shamelessness of his chosen fetish. Do you know why?

Because it's honest.

His modern SJW persona is an act; a fabrication. It's a fucking shameless, a failed attempt to cozy up to people he deems important because that's what will bring him success rather than any talent or skill. He gave up on himself long ago, and he'd have ceased to be relevant except that he latched onto pissing people off for attention. Ultimately, he will die alone and unloved, forsaken by both sides because he sold himself down the river.
This, so much this.
While having your fetishes brought to daylight might be a bit of a shameful thing, there's only one thing Dobson should genuinely be ashamed of: His art was terrible. Like, really terrible. And at least partially, he has stagnated at some points. Look at the hands. Look at the inking. The only thing he's become a bit better at is the coloring and some smaller aspects (like drawing clothes). But compare this CattyN crap to Alex ze Pirate... there's bearly (hurhur) any difference.
Um, is that supposed to be funny or...?
Well, technically, it's supposed to be "hot".:heart-empty:
I used to think he was monetarily supported by his parents, but after that Hanukkah post, I'm not so sure. He doesn't even seem to mention them, ever. So I wonder if there was some kind of falling out between them. Dobson is a sad little man that exudes hate, so alienating his family would really be a shock.
You know... maybe he was independent and living on his own and now receives some delicious parent-dosh...?
Okay... why do Chip and Dale look like they are rubbing their unspeakables on her chin and why is Aladdin wearing Wonderwoman's arm-bracelet-thingies?
He did a good job on tracing Darkwing Duck, though.

And just a little piece of trivia:
LostInSpace.jpg
I feel we barely escaped Dobson depicting Penny inflating in a vacuum after flipping that switch, yet we have the above image. The completely unfitting bugs-bunny-style switch aside, am I the only one thinking it's kinda bizarre he depicted a real girl (that was 16 in the movie) and also putting so much emphasis on her boobs?
Edit, just noticed the *ahem* flavor text for the image:
a hypocritical lunatic with a bike pump dijo:
"...your skin inflates like a balloon... and then.. POP!"
So I guess yeah, he used to think about this while doing unspeakable things to himself. So progressive.

Which also brings me to this: if he keeps mentioning Quiet so much, could she be his secret "waifu of the month"?

How long until we get a drawing of Quiet smacking either Snake or Kojima?

Bonus points if she's also complaining about her outfit. Double bonus points if Dobson draws her wearing it anyway.

"I don't know, so instead I'll avoid answering the question entirely and say something vague hoping no one notices."
Well gee, Dobson. That's an awfully incenvenient and whiny way of being dismissive about it.
That was supposed to be Ms Marvel!!? I thought it was a deranged long haired guy character that I'm just not familiar with. Jesus Christ, how can he fuck up women faces so badly.
Well, maybe he's taking hints from Bethesda and Bioware.
And have said character Lesbian Kick a bimbo version of Miss California when Miss California was standing for what she believed in.

Ah, you fool. Didn't you know? Blonde hair is the give-away clue that this person didn't deserve living in the first place, since all blonde people are mean, stupid and rude.

On a more serious note: We've seen this image a lot of times and it still baffles me just what went wrong in Dobsons mind to think this would be funny?
But something that just got my eye: first panel has a guy in a tophat, he's nowhere to be seen in the second-to-last panel. I know it's just a small detail, but for fuck's sake, the guy delivered a line beforehand, so putting in the bit of thought to keep the scene consistent by adding him in another panel might been a good idea.
The "best" part is the pose of that beaver-thing, though, it looks like he's about to grope lesbitch.

How long until we get a poorly executed drawing of Quiet smacking either Snake or Kojima?
FTFY.
You know. Speaking of which... something for the Chris-Chan fans around here:

So after the screenshots I posted last night I asked him if he thought it was still degrading to women if women draw women in sexual ways. I'm not going to cap it because of levels and not wanting Chloe to possibly figure out my account.

In short Dobs thinks that women sexualizing women the way they want is fine in context. EG. As long as male feminists like him deem it to be ok then female artists can do what they want. Just take in the irony there. The guy is pretty much stating that women artists need men's approval to draw women sexually in places that are not conventionally sexual, as if the dignity of fictional characters is more valuable than the creative expression of women in the comic industry.

Honestly, I can understand being put off by things being awkwardly sexual, but I don't see the point in telling other artists and creators that they should change, potentially alienating their current audience, for a chance at a different one. I just suck it up and say "well, this wasn't designed for me" and move the fuck on.
