Good comic, while it's a pretty good summary of clown world, I can't really fault sports fans from enjoying seeing the monkeys dance.

My guess is the three panels are the before. The last panel (14) is the during when he sees his favorite sport turn "woke" and anti-American (notice the American flag and #1 foam finger.) His smile stays there in sheer disappointment, and then the 88 comes into play.

Basically, all this damn America stuff is slowly turning average people into racists. Hence the 14.

As for the guy on the left, that's the "okay" symbol. It originally was meant to be a hoax saying it meant "white power," done because it's such a universally used and common gesture. The hoax actually worked, and now it's been accepted as a genuine white supremacist symbol by stupid people.
