It does not change what they had done in their past, what they've drawn and said, but my main point is just that I see actions that can be taken as "Eevee wants to fuck kids because she keeps saying stupid shit about child sexuality" more as Eevee/PK having trauma and having no real functional way in dealing with it.

Eevee has been accused of grooming by two different people. Eevee has definitely publicly sexually harassed minors. PK and Eevee still dogpile anyone that mentions this, and the old "apology" stops short of actually acknowledging that what happened was sexual harassment. There is absolutely no reason that what Eevee has done shouldn't be taken as seriously as Goopy, Twee, or any of the other known harassers in Floraverse, but he's been there so long and runs apologetics for himself so frequently that people don't look at him twice.

Just wanted to clear up that side of things, since most people in that circle will only tell you "it was just old bad takes" or something of the sort.

I'm still not totally caught up, but while I think Pengo has good intentions, it's still clear to me that he's been drawn back into PK's web, which was definitely a concern I had when I spoke with him on Twitter. @Hatun , nobody here is going to be convinced that PK isn't as bad as we think she is because a lot of posters here have dealt with her firsthand, and it's been brought up that while you were in her cycle of being villainized for leaving her, she didn't have any of the kind of consideration for you that you've had for her. I'm going to repeat myself and say that you need to weigh your peace of mind versus the remote possibility that PK maybe might possibly consider getting some kind of justice over what Marl has done to people, which, I remind you, are things that she passively allowed Marl to do to people. She didn't care until it affected her, and that's when she chucked Marl, because he'd outlived his usefulness to her.

I think these are things that you already are aware of, but you need to either shit or get off the pot here; commit to going back to Wackyland with the PK Crew or leave and disconnect yourself completely, make sure that she can't contact you again, because any contact at all is all the contact she needs to try and reel you back in. It's not our job to play detective and get Marl behind bars. We're not the internet police, we're autistic TMZ. We're here to gawk. I want to make all of this very clear going forward if you decide to stick around, because I don't have the patience for PK apologia. You're not a family member, so you can cut ties far more easily than other people who might be in a situation like yours where they have a fucking leech of a human being sucking their life away with their bullshit. I definitely encourage you to read the thread, read what people have said, check the links they post. Pretty much, i find it hilarious that Pengo believes he can't change shit in the world, but in the same breath would write a bible on how we are misinterpreting Glip and not really seeing the bits of progress she's making with his help, and that's because there's none, what you interpret as progress is nothing but a cheap attempt at luring you in with promises of progress that will never come to full fruition because Glip is a narcissistic abuser, they are testing how much shit can shove onto you before you say "no", gaining an inch every time.

This showcases so clearly that Glip is totally unqualified to run any community and that the attempts to maintain transparency and safety clearly aren't working.

Glip was damaged by Marl and others from a young age, never got proper treatment, and is still barely at the point where they can even handle being honest about their trauma. Glip has admitted multiple times that they never learned proper boundaries, they spent years out of touch with their emotions, they have a wildly skewed concept of what is "normal" sexual interaction. Even well-adjusted, non-abused people find it EXTREMELY difficult to safely run sexual spaces, and Glip is missing huge swaths of vital information--not out of laziness, but because they were raised in a maladaptive environment.

Not only that, sexual predators can easily see Glip's weakness through the way Glip behaves and through the implicit attitudes showcased in their NSFW comic work. Everything in ForFlor screams "I don't understand consent! I don't understand boundaries! Please come prey on me and my fanbase, we will be easy bait!" Even Glip doesn't MEAN harm, they are currently in a state where they attract predators like flies to honey. This line in the Goopy doc jumped out at me:

Glip has a long-standing tendency to excuse people's behavior if they claim it was caused by "abuse." This is, once again, something they were taught by being raised around predators: most abusers were abused themselves and are skilled at painting sob stories. The first thing they do when grooming is teach their victim to forgive things that should not be forgiven, to give second chances forever and ever, and we see this play out with Glip's handling of abuse in Flora spaces over and over.

Trying to maintain a sex-inclusive server, in their state, all they are doing is creating a space where more Marls can flourish. If they really want to stop future Marls, they need to draw a hard line in the sand and shut down all sexual aspects of their public server, full stop, until they have gotten a few YEARS of therapy. They have tried to moderate it, they've tried to make things safe, and they have failed, causing untold harm to dozens and dozens of people who looked up to them.

Yes, some people might stop paying money to ForFlor if they lose their sex RP space. But what amount of profit is worth letting people get abused?

I can walk away pretty easily if I wanted to, so no worries there.
