I suspect that Dobson is secretly a disgusting superperv, and that his lesbian fetish is the only one of his kinks that is fit for public consumption. He Always reminds me of this highly profiled public servant in my former home town, a pudgy, ugly middle-aged guy that also was Mr. King Feminist to the Max. Wait... are you actually insinuating Dobson should try to make art before asking for money; as in: work for his money? Oh, you so silly. Obviously, that's not how it works. Pay Dobson wads of cash and he might consider drawing something... and once he shat out a poorly made fapfodder image for his own amusement, he might allow you to pat his ass on patreon for picking up a pencil despite it being so hard that day and "ugh".
Wait, okay... so... Not giving your fans ANYTHING didn't make them flood your Patreon? Well gee.
Also, what is this 'other' thing he mentions? His poorly made Skyrim artwork or ranting on twitter while being offended by literally any mundane thing that sticks out on the internet?
So cute... the little fella actually thinks his opinion as a fan matters despite not paying Dobson money on Patreon.
At times like these, I really hate not having paid for that fund raiser to get the 'horrifying' rating.

Dobby really needs to grow up. People aren't just going to hand you money, you have to work for it. Finish the damn job to the client's satisfaction, not your own. Do it in a timely fashion, not at your own leisure. Basic shit man, basic shit anyone with half a brain would know.

He's drawing them for himself first, secondly for asspats and anything else is inconsequential to Dobby.
He occasionally does drawings of gay guys but they are I think they are just popular fandom pairings:

I still can't believe he disabled comments all because people were telling him how to improve his art. I also can't believe dA allows their members to completely disable the only means of giving both praise and criticism on the site.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that the top picture is of two characters he didn't like, so there was some speculation he drew them as gay as some sort of "punishment".

I don't blame his fans for not jumping up to donate. He treats even the biggest asspatters like shit. They stick around because they like his art, not because they like Dobson, I'm sure. Their artistic taste is something I can't quite understand, but to each their own, I suppose.
As everyone else has said, he needs incentive for people to donate. I'm sure he COULD think of different tangible goals to reach, but I'm pretty sure he WON'T. If he wants to turn his Patreon into a full-time job, he needs to change his attitude, get some rewards/incentive in mind for his fans, and quite possibly actually want to improve on his artwork. I don't see any of that happening. He's lazy, and has admitted time and time again that he hates doing art. The more he says that, the more iffy people will be about donating, no doubt questioning if he'd actually deliver.

Hmmm. Well I'm sure it's not this attitude of "I know you want X not Y, but I don't feel like making X." And I'm positive it's not the fact that you decided to ignore your own poll making it clear that not a lot of people would be able to contribute to it. P.S. If you want to make it your full time job, you're going to have to drop this "Now I know you want X, but I don't feel like it" attitude. I'm really wondering if Dobson is reaching Chris levels in this regard. Nobody trolls Dobson like Dobson. "Can you give patreon money, fans?" "No." "Okay. I'll make one anyways." "Ugh. Why aren't you guys giving me more patreon money?"

It's weird that Chris-chan has no problem cranking out Sonichu medallions and crappy custom made Sonichu amiibos, yet he can't sit down long enough to draw a comic that with his art style and manner of "professionalism" would take him like a week or two tops!
Some people are just plain titty babies when it comes to criticism. Dobson is a shining example of that. Also, what else would you expect from a site that doesn't seem to care about art theft (the mods literally do NOT care 99 percent of the time if even one of their more popular members has his/her art stolen and submitting a ticket about it so that one of the mods will look into it is a real pain in the ass from what I've heard as again, the mods do not care whatsoever 99.9 percent of the time!)
I'm really starting to suspect Dobson has a strong case of autism. No one can be that stupid aside from Chris-chan right?

1. You don't have to hold back your 'best' work and only give it out when there's the promise of money, that just makes you look like an extremely disingenuous artist. Real artists aren't in it exclusively for the money, you pathetic flopping cock.
2. Nobody wants to see your content. You've chased all your actual fans away, you know, and you just plain suck besides. Maybe the fill bucket will catch all of your tears for you, eh?
