I don't care if people call me a no-fun-stiff, being this obsessed with cartoon shit like Avatar in your fucking 30's is a surefire sign of delayed development.

I liked Avatar when I was a kid back in the 2000's but fuck me, it's been more than a decade and surely there are more important things to be concerned with and more apt comparisons to be made when talking about politics.

If I'm going to compare any real world politics to any animated work of fiction, I'll probably bring up the anime 'Legend of the Galactic Heroes' then and it's because that old show is about politics and it's very realistic about it as well.

Also, I do recommend the show even if you're not into anime yourself and not only do I consider it a masterpiece of Japanese animation but also one of the greatest masterpieces of animation in general by the way.

Now while I still think that Avatar: The Last Airbender is a good show, a lot of people tend to forget that most of the politics doesn't come until later into the series. Half the of the show is Aang and his friends training to end the war and the more deep political stuff doesn't come until way later.

This is what happens when you let people think Avatar: The Last Airbender was a real anime.

To end this stupid debate. Avatar: The Last Airbender isn't technically a true anime since it's not even from Japan to begin with.

Now the show has clearly been inspired by Japanese animation but the show at the end of the day it was created in the United States and the creators of the series simply decided then to go with the anime style to fit the theme of the whole show (there's also other shows such as 'The Boondocks' and even the 2003 'Teen Titans' series have done the same thing).

It isn't a bad thing for a show to be inspired by another form of entertainment by the way but it just really annoys me that morons think anything with the anime style somehow equals to that it must always be an anime series. Now is 'The Boondocks' an anime series? Well no, it's a show that was created in a western country that simply adopted the anime style, that's it.

The pharmaceutical industry has been allowed to get away with it for years with the approval of our corrupt elected officials; even going so far as to prevent generics from entering the market and meddling with foreign policy when other nations are able to provide a drug of procedure at a better price. It is the responsibility of the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission to put a stop to it. President Trump has been empowering these agencies to get back to doing their job.

We've been living with a corrupt government for so long that many people see the attempts to stop the corruption as the corrupting act. It's a bad situation.

The FDA and its agents' relationships with the pharmaceutical industry in particular are worthy of a oversight investigation. There have been rumblings for years about payouts and cushy jobs being handed out to former FDA personnel who make judgements in favor of pharmaceutical companies and their associated products just before they decide to quit. I would like to see the Department of Justice open up a full audit of the FDA's dealings with Big Pharma.
