Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos supports Black Lives Matter.

This is a prime example of someone whose business is not welcome on Amazon.
CEO Jeff Bezos revealed in an Instagram FB, +0.27% post on Sunday that he’s been getting “sickening but not surprising” emails since his last post, when he responded to a customer that complained about the “Black Lives Matter” banner on top of Amazon’s AMZN, +1.65% e-commerce site. The customer countered that “All Lives Matter,” and Bezos responded that Black Lives Matter “doesn’t mean other lives don’t matter.” He added that he supports the movement, and he’s not going to change his stance.

Indeed, Amazon recently pledged to donate $10 million to organizations such as the NAACP and the National Urban League.

Well, Bezos shared another email he received recently, from someone named “Dave,” and Dave didn’t pull any punches in disagreeing with him.

“You are a perfect a— hole,” the unsatisfied customer told Bezos in an obscenity-laced email that used the N-word not once, but twice. “I canceled my order, and I know for a fact I won’t be the only one,” Dave wrote. “My business relationship with you is over.”

Bezos shared a screenshot of the email, with Dave’s last name and the N-word blacked out, explaining that, “This sort of hate shouldn’t be allowed to hide in the shadows. It’s important to make it visible This is just one example of the problem.
And then came the kicker:
“And, Dave, you’re the kind of customer I’m happy to lose.”
Bezos’ burn has been “liked” more than 200,000 times since he shared it, with high-profile commentators such as entrepreneur and investor Gary Vaynerchuk, record executive Scooter Brian, and model/activist Amber Rose supporting his stance and offering to double or triple their own Amazon orders.

There have been a number of sickening but not surprising responses in my inbox since my last post. This sort of hate shouldn’t be allowed to hide in the shadows. It’s important to make it visible. This is just one example of the problem.

And, Dave, you’re the kind of customer I’m happy to lose.

Bezos is certainly not the only business leader supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and condemning the recent killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and other black men and women killed by police officers, or in cases where law enforcement dragged its heels in investigating and prosecuting the perpetrators.

Tesla TSLA, +7.25% CEO Elon Musk recently called for #JusticeForGeorge on Twitter TWTR, +5.07%. Alphabet’s GOOG, +0.57% YouTube has pledged to donate $1 million “in support of efforts to address social injustice,” and Uber UBER, -0.34% is donating $1 million to the Equal Justice Initiative, while Tim Cook recently wrote to Apple AAPL, +0.59% employees that now is not the time for “standing on the sidelines."
But activists warn that these corporations need to follow through with their pledges to fight injustices, such as by taking action to diversify their workforces, raising wages and offering more comprehensive benefits.

About that picture in the beginning. Has Jeff Bezos always looked like he perpetually hears voices in his head telling him to kill?

This is just, 'pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!' hand-waving by Bezos.

This article will be very informative to those interested in what Amazon really thinks about diversity, or more importantly, the real reason behind their (and many of the globo-homo set's) championing of 'diversity'.

Amazon have been outed as using AI to union bust in the Amazon owned 'Whole Foods' arm of their business (and if they're using it there, you can bet they're employing this in their warehouses).
They're employing AI to create a predictive model of which stores might be 'at risk' of 'union activity'.
What's interesting about all this however are the variables that they use to model these predictions and what is implies about ‘business and race’:

Here are some examples of “store risks”:
Store-risk metrics include average store compensation, average total store sales, and a “diversity index” that represents the racial and ethnic diversity of every store. Stores at higher risk of unionizing have lower diversity and lower employee compensation, as well as higher total store sales and higher rates of workers’ compensation claims, according to the documents.

So there you have it from the corporate mouth, 'hire multi-kult and keep your employees too divided to organize! It sure explains a lot about the corporate diversity initiatives and hiring initiatives lately. It also explains the emphisis on identity politics.
As the the ol commies used to say, 'five fingers make a fist!'
If you can keep those fingers divided by identity politics you can fuck over the working class with ease.

Whole Foods' heat map says lower rates of racial diversity increase unionization risks
The second group of metrics in the scoring system, called store risks, aren't a direct cause of risk "but can predispose a store to risk," according to documents.

I LOVE NON WHITES. PRAISE NON WHITES. BRING IN NON WHITES TO WORK ALONG SIDE MY WHITE WORKFORCE.

Damn, you mean I could have been sending bald jokes to him all this time and he would have been reading them with his morning coffee??? That easy?

Lol at multibillionaire tycoon pretending to act like an instagram woke thot

There is zero chance this email is real and even if it was what the fuck is Jeff even doing with his free time.

Corporations do this a lot. Virtue signal on something, like sending money to the BLM anarcho-communists, and then ignore legitimate criticism and instead highlight insane replies in order to smear anyone who disagrees with defunding the cops, as a barely literate racist.

It doesn't matter if the email was real. It might be. But doubting its legitimacy is playing the wrong game. Because let's say you go down that road and then they dox this person as a genuine insane racist. Then what?

I mean it's safe to say the KKK dude who drove his car through a protest was motivated by hatred. But that doesn't get you to 'everyone who opposes BLM protests is a Nazi'. That's where they want to go with this.

Probably there are some insane people who send emails like this. Some of them will be famed by corps. But not all of them. The fake ones you won't hear are fake . Doesn't fit the narrative. If they find a fake BLM account saying crazy things being liked by real BLM accounts then the fact it's fake WILL be shouted from the roof tops. It's a lose-lose game considering that Bezos literally owns the media.

It also explains the emphisis on identity politics
If whites hadn't relented the game of identity politics, they wouldn't now be divided and conquered.

They just didn't realize other people still had their identities and identity politics.

Hmm, looks like South Park hasn't lost their edge. It's just precognitive now...

Fwiw it's been known for awhile that Jeff will rarely, but occasionally, check emails to jeff@amazon.com. this probably got forwarded to him by some underling but I don't know why people think it's not real.

Fake email or not, Bezos is playing that dangerous game a lot of companies have been playing in recent years: telling paying customers to fuck off.

It's fine to "fire your worst customers" in most businesses, but you do it quietly, without a public repudiation or any kind of grandstanding. You get rid of problem customers because they're costing you money or harming other business.

This trend of straight up telling people "if you don't like our politics we don't need your business" is very risky. You're (presumably) in business to sell products or services. Chasing away potential buyers is stupid -- it reduces your available customer pool, which can directly reduce your revenue and sales numbers. That's stupid. Incredibly stupid.

It's not a theoretical risk, either. Video game companies have famously done this and then wondered shortly after why their latest release didn't sell very well. "Gee Bob, maybe it's because you called your potential buyers ignorant hicks and told them fuck off."
