Whenever I think of how Politics are over here, I'm more and more convinced that meme image involving walls of text on the left and "when you kill nigs lol bottom text" on the right is extremely accurate. Seriously, those people are eating their own, while people on the right are just kind of chilling, from what I can tell. Makes sense, since really, who else is there to vote for on this side of the aisle than Trump?

The thing that disgusts me the most about these people is that they'd probably gleefully welcome another great depression if it meant they could blame Trump, uncaring of what damage it would cause to other people.
I'm very curious to see what will happen with the right after Trump and if they'll stay in this relative chill state because it's currently really helping to win over moderates and disillusioned left to their side. I've found myself in recent years agreeing more with those on the right when I thought I was more to the left. I'm also wondering how long it'll take the left to get its head out of its own ass because the current behavior by a lot of them absolutely disgusts me.

I’m getting a very strong suspicion that these people are either low IQ or, more than likely, were failures in school and because they were never taught self responsibility and to strive to do more with potentially less, they blame the system for their fuck ups and go about their day carrying that attitude with them.

Objectively, Trump continues to do a shit job. His performance in this epidemic is a disgrace, and it's his personal qualities of extreme egotism, selfishness, and incompetence that outrage so many that have led to this disasterous outcome. You Trump fans like to focus on the foolishness of Trump haters, but at a core level, you know they are right.
The president can't control a lot, but in a situation like this, leadership at the highest level makes a huge difference.
When it counted, Trump strikes out, and needless disaster and death follow.
Trump has always been able to skate by on his many life failures by using other peoples money and screwing over those he can blame. Not this time, sadly for US.
He is pathetic, following his usual playbook of looking for scapegoats. Demanding his signature goes on the treasury checks, FFS...

How can any world leader respond well when the CCP and WHO were actively lying to the public? At least Trump was willing to close borders and restrict travel to China much faster than Canada. Also, Trump was called “racist” by the media for insisting on a travel ban. During this whole time, the impeachment trial was going on, and Democrats were doing nothing useful in that time. Finally, when it was declared an emergency, Democrats fought against necessary funding and issued their own plan under Pelosi (which included a bunch of unnecessary garbage). No world leader is perfect, but considering the crap Trump had to put up with during that time, he’s done pretty well. His response time may not have been the most ideal, but it’s far better than what other countries have done by comparison.
