Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Are you saying asking for an extension is fucking up a case?
I'm just saying that Mr. Big Time Oil Lawyer hasn't done a thing to show that he's worth whatever price he's charging, but that's been covered here to hell and back.

If he didn't have time for to give Vic's case the time it needs he shouldn't have taken the case in the first place.

Well I can't argue with facts.

Yeah but didn't they hire a bunch of new lawyers or something? I could be wrong because I haven't kept up with this since the TCPA hearing shenanigans
I could have sworn Lemonaids said he was in the case since April, and I think the multiple law firms thing came from Casey and Andrea moving firms.

The first extension was to take depositions before filing their TCPA. And then they went from Casey, to a team of 3, to an even bigger team.

Reminder that despite Lemon saying he was there since the start, the documents shows that it was Casey at the start.

But that's literally nickpicking at this point. New lawyers, new extensions, same monday.

Lemoine did claim that he was involved with the case since April. I believe in an "advisory" capacity. Casey Erick did all the paperwork while Lemoine was "the Mastermind."

First there was Casey, then he was replaced by Lemoine, now at appeals Lemoine will be replaced by whoever's doing the appeals. Is it normal for a party to change lawyers at every step? Was wondering since Ty only relegated some stuff to the newer firm that joined but is still handling everything from the start.

It appears to be normal procedure since trial court is a different animal from appeals court.

Casey being replaced by Lemoine was pure exceptionalism though.

Got it,thanks.
Casey was quite exceptional, but didn't made me laugh nearly as much as Lemoine, guess he must have been replaced 'cuz he wasn't enough full of shit like Lemwah, at least this change gave us months to laugh at MoRon's party.

Casey just seemed like a guy wanting to do the right thing and immediately file the TCPA, but moronica wouldn't let him, IE, why he flipped at opposing council during the depos I think it was.

Basically, he eliminated himself from this case for not having to listen to anymore BS that Moronica fed him till that point, welp guess he isn't as exceptional as he seems, hope he gets payed though as until now, as he seems to have been the only serious guy about their case, since Lemwah seems much more interested in increasing the costs and dragging in Slatosh and Nick just to waste fees and time. Such a fun fact that Moronica still haven't realized their being grifted by their many firms and still haven't shown anything worth of their so called evidence.

He did snap at opposing council during depositions. Christy made a comment about how "Ron couldn't recall anything." Casey wasn't impressed by that.

I think Lemoine took over because they were going to file the TCPA and he was the supposed expert.

Casey was the guy Monica and Ron found by themselves while Lemoine seems to have been recommended by Funimations or Casey's law firm.

Poor Casey, must have lost his shit after being humiliated in that hearing.
Yeah, I forgot how Lem always had the gall to call himself "TCPA expert" yet still manage to fuck up horribly when it matters the most. Even if he was recommended by Funi or Casey firms, guess they too must have believed the so called "expert" and went blindly with it.

I think "TCPA expert" was a cover for "I'll do some shady, inexplicable shit to make this lawsuit a fucking mess."

"and make you win, no matter how much I'll bill you in the end, trust me I've got your back". Yeah, this does sounds like a perfect description of Lemoine and his "skills".

Lemoine unironically thought "I'm about to destroy this man's bank account."

In the commentary for "Superman: The Animated Series" the director described Lex Luthor as "a Thug in a suit."

Lemoine is a thug in a suit. Doesn't really matter who he is against, the fact that someone is against him is insult enough.

Don't be so quick to dismiss Lemonfuhrer Lungmoine. He's a pretty good lawyer if you're a rich major corporation being sued for something you're blantantly guilty for. He files endless amounts of bullshit, he makes the person suing and their counsel feel like shit, and his arguments are so riddled with shit that he drives up the bills for the opposing counsel by making them respond to his nonsense. He'd be piss-poor for typical corporate law and how they expect to win, but for lawsuits which should be open-shut cases in favor of the plaintiff Lemonfuhrer makes them anything but.

The problem is that MoRon are not rich enough to afford the Fuhrer. Unless Funimation/Sabat is paying his bill. Even though Funi isn't the biggest corporation, it might be worth Lemonfuhrer's price to make an example out of Vic.
