Chantal, Onision, and Amber all manipulate their audience in similar ways and repeat some of the same lines. Onision's manipulation is more overt than Chantal and Amber. I don't follow Boogie too closely, but I would agree he manipulates similar to the women...

I really don't get why she's trying to look for online friends when she has Becky who doesn't work, therefore she can be around her most of the time save for the n-th appointment she goes to. And she "loves" her so much that again, I don't see why she acts to desperate for online friends.
What about Eric? I thought Amber said he and her go along well, but no, boo boo, gotta cry on my Snapchat that I don't have any friends...
Maybe she's paranoid that Becky will leave her soon and that'd mean Amber having to leave the house, so she needs a backup plan for when shit eventually kicks the fan, just like she did with her previous ex-es. As soon as someone dumps her, the next day you see her moving to another state and living with someone else.

This reminds me of when I would go to the mall and see flocks of young girls hanging out and wearing what seemed to be their coolest dress, with bracelets and necklaces all over, glitter spread to their entire face, as if going to the movies was a huge event.

Doesn't everybody wear a chest laced little black dress to the pizza joint when they want to remind everyone they're the Mousie-Earred Kween of the Arcade? I'll grudgingly grant adding a pet hair covered cardigan on top, takes away from the look but maybe her minute minion in attendance makes up for that. I wonder how many hours a day she spends practicing that Haughty Hawty look in her mirror?

Having inappropriate actions/reactions to situations has been the one thing (besides bingeing, obviously) Big Al has managed to do consistently. I am constantly forgetting she is a woman nearing her thirties because the way she acts is what you'd expect out of kids in middle school.
Getting all dressed up to go to a pizza place? Why? She could've just worn her usual tarp and leggeens and she would've fit in better with the rest of the crowd. Insisting on third wheeling a date with her ex-girlfriend and her fiance? That's weird. That's just fucking weird and anyone above the age of 12 would understand that that's a event they wouldn't be welcomed at. Airing out her every emotion and grievance she has with strangers on the internet to her snapchat? That's something you'd see your youngest sibling do when they get into their first fight with a friend. The constant pity parties, woe is me's, and 'oh but I can't talk about what's going on with me'. Amber, no one cares. See a therapist.
I'm sure everyone around her feels uncomfortable because she doesn't know how to correctly respond to social situations. There are many 'right' ways to act in the situations she's in, but she always manages to choose the wrong one. Most people grow out of these behaviors when they hit their twenties, but not our gorl. Attention and making the people around her feel like shit is like her life source. I don't even think it's narcissism, it's just emotional immaturity.

If she ever said something like, "Yeah, I know I was really over-dressed for the arcade, but I just felt like dressing up so I figured, 'Fuck it,'" I'd be a bit less judgmental. I'd still think it was trashy, but it would just be trashy, not pathological. As it is, she might say "I just felt like dressing up," but she doesn't have it in her to acknowledge that it wasn't really appropriate (much like everything else she does). Hell, she's incapable of understanding that it is inappropriate, like you say.
That, and the fact that she clearly thinks she looks uh-may-zeen (how could Destiny resist?) just make it sad.
And trashy.

You can have one without the other. We may be saying the same thing and I'm just misunderstanding like a retard. Her narcissism comes across as just her inability to understand how her actions and the things she says impact the people around her. She's just unable to think outside of herself and her immediate needs.
That would require a level of self awareness she doesn't have. Speaking of Dustin- I'm liveen for the shitty glam looks we're treated to now that Dustin's made a reappearance in Amberland.
