Well, trying not to be morbid here really, but even if he didn't land head first there's no way he'd survive a fall like that. The kinetic force of a fall from that high would make death instantaneous no matter what part of you hits first. His death was instant, and painless. And with his state of mind, he probably saw it like flying to freedom. In a way he did.
Why do so many of these degenerate losers complain on Twitter with these overlong threads? No one is even interacting with them, like two likes. Is it they he truly thinks people care what he says? I've always wondered this.
And of course he has a thread here. Any website they can't get their sick, disgusting behavior removed from is on their hit list. It's really sad.

Twitter seems to give people the illusion that what they're saying carries more weight than it actually does. In reality, pretty much no one would even be reading the posts if not for them being posted here for laughs.

I'd figure people like him jerk off not to actual post statistics (likes and retweets) but to impressions which indicate how much your tweets have been seen.
Just by replying to a popular, hot tweet you can get a fuckton of impressions, even if you yourself are uninteresting and are just regurgitating the point. Sorta like how here making same endless jokes about someone being a cuck, a fatso or looking like a troon while not yet being a troon usually get you stickers even if you didn't actually produce anything new. Except, here I'm yet to see someone genuinely becoming more and more insane and self-centered because of how much stickers they get, the most is some people going revenge rating because someone rated their post dumb.
Meanwhile, Twitter is absolutely fucking insane, especially if you go deep into echo chambers.

It was coming from a mile away, and it was probably the best option he had. Faking it would have ruined what he had left (and potentially net him fines for wasting people's time), and another mental health ward would do little for him if he already talked his way out of two. Being alive in general would keep him around the fans who simply encourage his lunatic behavior. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them have similar issues and he just validated them with his twitter rambles about being a God.
At least we can enjoy the wades of milk the other cows will give off for a brief while. I'm already loving the murder and cult theories running around. The armchair psychiatrists really can't let a dead crazy rest, there HAS to be a s e c r e t behind it all.
On another note, the neighbor psychic is already trying to contact him from beyond the grave.
Exactly this. If someone's suicidal enough, you can't truly stop them unless you keep them locked up forever. They'll find a way, and just get better at hiding it or make sure that it kills them and that they won't survive. For every failure they'll learn how to do it better.

Delusions arent about if they;re exciting or not, its about insight. Most delusions start off as just little thoughts- a "what if" kind of situation. Then as they progress, you lose more and more insight into what is the reality of the situation and what is the batshit dopamine fuckup in your brain. Most Schizophrenics don't hold onto their delusions because they want to, they are constantly there in the backs of their minds because thats what the condition causes in the first place. If you become completely psychotic (ie you have a breakdown) you lose the ability to have the insight into your own mental state. Insight can also vary in levels whilst someone is psychotic, you could have someone one minute telling you the government is trying to steal their thoughts then realising how fucked up their mind is and crying to you to help them because they realise they've lost it.
But that's schizophrenia, i think its a lot more likely (as has already been claimed by loads of us posting here) that Etika was bipolar which is a whole different kettle of fish. Mania is a hard one, it can start relatively innocently with just an inflated sense of worth and increased productivity. You sleep less, you have loads of ideas you want to work on- everything seems great and you're on top of the world. Then it keeps going past that- you havent slept in 3 days, you want to go to cambodia and live in a shack because you'd be off the grid and living self-sufficiently which, in turn, would save the planet because you're not using electric and contributing to fossil fuel emissions. You're also now a god, because you know the answer to EVERYTHING and anyone who disagrees with you just isn't worth your time. Anyone saying you're crazy, is crazy. Why can't they see you're trying to save the world?
It's at that point you usually end up in hospital obviously, but you catch my drift. Etika was spiralling out of control fast and its likely his youtube fame contributed to that- it feeds the grandiose nature of manic episodes (he thought he was leaving behind a great legacy like he was some humanitarian icon or something). The hospital that released him before this really failed him.
But then, you crash. And when you've been that high for so long, either you crash by jumping of a bridge and splatting into that water at speed, or you survive and have a bit of normality for a while before it starts up again and you're back to planning that trip to cambodia. If Etika didn't jump when he did, i would put money on this just happening again and again until he was either properly admitted for treatment (not just for a few days and let out) or he offed himself after another comedown.

But in all seriousness it sucks that there were millions of warning signs/ people trying to help this guy and it didn't take. No one could make it through to him and it's unfortunate, mental health field can be an imperfect science.
It is pretty disgusting how quickly everyone and their mother have come out with their sudden fee fees. When he was alive half these people didn't know even who he was but all of a sudden he was some sort of beautiful genius now that he is pushing daisies
