Piffle. I have, and that and $2.50 will get me a cup of coffee. Writing and publishing isn't complicated, but striking it rich from writing is to some degree a matter of luck. Still, we press on.
If you really want to be a professional writer, Mr. Church, you would do well to hang out at writers' forums (the forums at AbsoluteWrite.com and PW.org are two good places to start) and get the info you need on submitting your work for publication.
Writing is a job, not a mystical order of adepts. You just do the work, send it out, send it out again if it gets rejected. Lather, rinse, repeat. The hardest part is doing the work.

I guess internet writings don't count, then? After all, you made it clear you vehemently despise criticism of your CHYOO contributions to the point you insist there are no problems in your work. And topping it off, you've gone on to contradict your work to insist that you're never wrong while hoping no one is intelligent enough to notice the contradiction even though you do nothing to hide the contradictions.

I actually published some of TJ's writing today! And by publish, I mean I made a bunch of copies of it on a work printer and used it as part of a training exercise. There was a contest to find who could take TJ's reams of words and cut it down the most while retaining grammatical coherence. The winner managed to trim the bit in question down by almost 70%.

It would have ended, but as I have said within the thread, the aim is for it to disappear, not simply become inactive as many of you no doubt do quite often. Also, regardless if the thread were 2 pages or 2000, either number is much longer than any thread about me should (or eventually will) be.
Lastly, why do I believe this thread and everything about you will go away from here when we all say it won't? Because I believe what you say 800 times as much as I believe anything you say once, which is to say I believe it as much as you have ever given me reason to believe it. Many posts in this thread have been members telling me if I left the thread for a while, it would go away. I was completely offline for literally weeks (if not months), & during that time, the thread not only remained here, but remained active & ongoing.

Null wrote he was the only one with the power to make it go away. If so, I simply must wait for him to do the right thing. The thread has gone inactive before, & someone (not me, contrary to some statements) re-activates it. (A main reason I am so upset by its mere existence: Total strangers feel free to attack me, my life, etc. when their doing so repeatedly makes it abundantly clear they have no "lives" to "speak of" of their own.)

I see where the confusion is. We're both using "go away" to mean different things.
In that case, this thread will never, ever go away the way you want it to. You had the opportunity to make it go away long ago but you blew it by being an asshole towards everyone. At this point there is nothing you can do. The best you can hope for is that thread drops off the first page, forgotten by the rest of us.
