End of The Walking Dead by Telltale. Each ending made me cry. God, that ending was so unexpected.

When I first played Silent Hill 2, in like 2005-ish.
I don't know if it counts, but something about ambitious but failed game systems makes me feel wistful in a pleasant way.

I've gotten misty-eyed at a lot of media, but no video game ever made me cry (like "balling my eyes out, ugly-faced tears streaming down my face" crying) until Spider-Man PS4.

The dad dying didn't really do me in. If anything I was kinda bored at that point, but the entire scene where Aunt May is dying and reveals she knew Peter was Spider-Man all along and you're just forced to sit through every grueling second, knowing that May has to die in order for the entire city and the world to be saved had me welling up. The following flatline and the funeral following after with the gravestone next to Ben were about when the waterworks really set in.

It's weird because I've never been that big a Spider-Man fan, but that ending was so unexpected and gut-punching, man. Persona 5 also comes in at a close second, though that definitely had a more upbeat light-hearted "things will turn out fine" vibe by the end, so it didn't really have that emotional oomph that Spider-Man PS4 did.

Probably one of my first games outside of DBZ emulation was Lufia II for SNES. I remember that ending got to me, so it had to have been that.

Conker's closing monologue at the end of Conker's Bad Fur Day put me in hospital for the better part of a year to deal with the resulting manic depression. I blame this game for my crippling pathos and ongoing habit of prowling Craigslist for CNAs who will come to my house to change my diaper. Life is like a box of chocolate starfish and shit corn...

Wooh boy, I'm a fucking sucker for vidya feels.

Jesus, this was from a fucking children's game but it had me bawling.

Atton completely fine and even relieved with dying but absolutely hating the fact he failed you and is dying in front of you is just fucked up but completely understandable knowing who he is. Honestly the most tragic scene in Star Wars, imo.

The regret, exhaustion, sadness, and fear in Arthur's voice through this entire scene is already heartbreaking enough but its ending is pretty beautiful.

This. Despite having one word of dialogue ("matsalooba,") that game gave me so many fucking feels. The power of friendship as written and developed by a French basement dweller.

Okay. For my part, the first time I properly got all teary at a vidya was probably Torment. You know it's going to be a downer ending when you realise that the protagonist just wants to be able to die. But seeing him defeat his mortality (don't worry, it makes sense in context) and merge with it, before being condemned to Hell forever, and the voiceover going "What can change the nature of a man?" and Grace saying something like "Time is not your enemy, forever is" and so forth... yeah. Snif.

More recently, Kirsten Barrasso's ending in The Long Journey Home gave me the feels.

None have made me cry, but I got a little emotional at the ending of Klonoa when I first played it years ago.

As soon as the sky twinkled, a tear formed from my eye.

I think the first time I cried from a game was when I watched the bad ending of Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus.

I friggen love Abe, and even though you as the player kinda deserve what happens due to not rescuing enough mudokuns, little kid me was crying over Abe getting betrayed and placed in one of the tear extracters.

Just goes to show how lovable that stitch-lipped goofball was.

I don't think a game ever made me cry. I teared up because of books, movies, plays and songs but videogame cutscenes just don't have the same effect on me.
