There's no place in this country where chains (at least big ones beyond podunk-tier ones like McDonald's, Dairy Queen, and oddly, Sonic) exist but local food doesn't, except maybe the fringes of suburbia, and even then, other food is obtainable within a 10-minute drive.for restaurant comparisons, the same reason there's still chili's and tgi friday's
certain parts of the country have literally nothing but chains and maybe like, one local diner
