That's it isn't it. You have people like the Imam who've been talking about reform and modernization for years. He's essentially ignored. You have Governments and law enforcement turning a blind eye to immigrant crime and terrorist activities. And then when finally the societal pressure gives and some guy cracks, everyone just uses it as a vehicle to continue to push what they were already pushing. Which is exactly what the shooter knew would happen.

In short, they don't give a fuck. And the shooter is hoping he can escalate that mindset until more people crack like he did.

I have a neighbour who fled his own country to get away from Islamic terror many, many years ago.
Over the years, he's become more and more disgusted with how the west is pandering to victim culture and putting muslims on a pedestal. The freedoms he came to the west for are being over run by the same kind of idiotic way of thought he faced back home. I don't think the sojus crowd really realise what they're doing - their outrage culture is the exact same as it is in 3rd world countries, where no one seeks the truth and just spreads rumor and lies to justify their own agenda. They may realise, but perhaps they don't care because they're on the "winning" side atm.
They really don't understand that one day their neck will be in the noose.
They also don't understand that if a terrorist is going to kill people, they aren't going to sit down with you and work out if you have "good" opinions or not before they shoot you. They don't care how smug you feel about your opinions. If you're there, you're a warm body to kill for Allah. Same can be said for people like Brenton Tarrant, but I think that was kind of his point.
That mosque is a known radicalisation mosque, I mean lets be realistic. They bought over their culture to a new society and bleeding heart faggots like Jacinda Arden welcomed them with open arms, whilst they basically said fuck you to all the people who were legit refugees from Islamic violence previously.
Not only that, Jacinda wore the hijab like it was a fucking fashion accessory. It's an insult to decent muslims out there. People like Jacinda live in gated houses, away from the peasants so they never have to deal with any of the problems. They don't care if people crack, they'll just tut tut them and not let a good tragedy go to waste.

Not only that, but seeing how capitulating Jacinda is to Islam, I wouldn't be shocked if you'd find a lot of Islamic donors to her political campaign.

Also, I can't remember if it was this thread or the other one, someone said something about the Bikie gangs protecting the mosques in NZ. If they're anything like they are here in Australia, they may have had the issue of being overrun with muslim new bloods. Either as ex-con converts or as refugee kids getting in on the action.

Pretty much this, but it's not limited to people in the media. Regular people are behaving like this, too.

I am not interested in a world that does not allow for the free exchange of ideas, good or bad.

People like to blame the media for being shit propaganda, but frankly, they were asking for it. People are just as much of the enemy to liberty as any government or institution.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has called on New Zealand to restore the death penalty for the gunman who killed 50 people at two Christchurch mosques, warning that Turkey would make the attacker pay for his act if New Zealand did not.
Key points:
  • Mr Erdogan has been campaigning ahead of local elections on March 31
  • In his speeches, he has used excerpts of the video taken in the Christchurch attack
  • Mr Erdogan said the mosque attacks in New Zealand were part of a global attack on Islam
Australian Brenton Tarrant, 28, a suspected white supremacist, was charged with murder on Saturday after a lone gunman opened fire at the two mosques during prayers on Friday.
"You heinously killed 50 of our siblings. You will pay for this," Mr Erdogan told an election rally of thousands in northern Turkey.
"If New Zealand doesn't make you, we know how to make you pay one way or another."
Making reference to Turkey's victory over Australian and New Zealand troops in Gallipoli, the Turkish President threatened that anyone who came to Turkey with anti-Muslim sentiments would be sent back in coffins.
Mr Erdogan has been touring the country ahead of local elections set to take place on March 31, drumming up support for his Islamist-rooted AK Party.
Ignoring widespread criticism, he again showed excerpts of a video taken by the attacker during the mosque shootings and denounced what he called rising hatred and prejudice against Islam.
He said Turkey was wrong to have abolished the death penalty 15 years ago, and added that New Zealand should make legal arrangements so the Christchurch gunman could face capital punishment.

'Your grandparents … returned in caskets'
On Monday, Mr Erdogan spoke at a rally on the Gallipoli peninsula where Ottoman soldiers defeated British-led forces including Australian and New Zealand troops trying to seize the peninsula, a gateway to Istanbul.
He spoke of the mosque attacks in New Zealand as part of a wider attack on Turkey and evidence of a global anti-Muslim sentiment.

New Zealand has about one firearm to every four people and no ban on semi-automatic weapons. But that could all change.

"They are testing us from 16,500 kilometres away, from New Zealand, with the messages they are giving from there," he said. "This isn't an individual act, this is organised."
Mr Erdogan criticised New Zealand and Australia for sending troops to Turkey in the World War I Gallipoli campaign, claiming their motive was anti-Islam-oriented.
"Your grandparents came here … and they returned in caskets," he said. "Have no doubt we will send you back like your grandfathers."

Since the attack in Christchurch, Mr Erdogan has been using clips from the graphic video filmed by the gunman to denounce Islamophobia during campaign rallies.
The video, which was blurred but had clear sounds of automatic gunfire, has been shown to thousands of people at the rallies and aired live on Turkish television, despite efforts by New Zealand to halt its spread.
The video prompted widespread condemnation. Facebook said it removed 1.5 million versions of the video in the first 24 hours after the attack.

Untold numbers of people made their own choices: to seek out the footage, to download it, to share it in ways intended to circumvent Facebook and YouTube's censors.

Turkey's main opposition party has also criticised Mr Erdogan for showing the clip "for the sake of [winning] three or five votes" at the elections.
Foreign Minister Winston Peters said Monday that he told his Turkish counterpart that Mr Erdogan's use of the footage in an election campaign was wrong.
"Anything of that nature that misrepresents this country, given that this was a non-New Zealand citizen, imperils the future and safety of the New Zealand people and our people abroad, and that is totally unfair," Mr Peters said.
But Mr Erdogan has continued to air the video and share an extract from the shooter's manifesto during his speeches.

He has cast the local elections as a "matter of survival" in the face of threats including Kurdish militants, Islamophobia and incidents such as the New Zealand shootings.
A senior Turkish security source said the Australian man accused of the shootings entered Turkey twice in 2016.
Turkish authorities have begun investigating everything from hotel records to camera footage to try to ascertain the reason for his visits, the source said.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has slammed Turkey's President and threatened further action for "deeply offensive" comments besmirching Anzacs and threatening violence to Australians and New Zealanders following the Christchurch massacre.
Key points:
  • Scott Morrison rejects "excuses" used to defend Turkish President's Christchurch shooting comments
  • Tayyip Erdogan warned Australian and NZ citizens who came to Turkey with anti-Muslim sentiments would be sent back in coffins
  • The PM threatens further action against Turkey unless the comments are withdrawn
Australia will review its travel advice for Turkey following President Tayyip Erdogan's threats Australians visiting Gallipoli would return in coffins like their grandparents if they came to the country with anti-Muslim sentiment.
Mr Morrison summoned Turkish ambassador Korhan Karakoç to Parliament House this morning, and left the meeting warning he would take further action.
"I do not accept the excuses that have been offered for those comments," Mr Morrison told reporters after his meeting with the ambassador.
Mr Erdogan criticised the Anzacs for their role in the Gallipoli campaign and threatened to return anyone who came to his country with anti-Islam sentiment back in coffins.
Mr Morrison said he had spoken with Opposition Leader Bill Shorten and would continue to liaise with the New Zealand Government in response to the comments.
He said he wanted the comments withdrawn and the state broadcaster to revoke its "misrepresentation" of Australian policy.
Mr Morrison said failure to do that would prompt further action.
"I will wait to see what the response is from the Turkish Government before taking further action but I can tell you that all options are on the table," he said.
The Government has not released a timeframe for how long it would take to review Australia's travel advisory for visitors to Turkey.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said her Foreign Minister Winston Peters would soon travel to Turkey to "confront" Mr Erdogan about his comments.
"Our Deputy Prime Minister will be confronting those comments in Turkey," Ms Ardern told reporters in Christchurch.
"He is going there to set the record straight, face-to-face."
Leaders denounce 'foolish' and 'unhelpful' remarks
Mr Shorten said Mr Erdogan's comments were foolish.
"Intemperate and regrettable remarks like this only play into the hands of those who seek to divide," he said.
"They do not protect the peace and security of any nation."

Mr Erdogan claimed the mosque attacks in New Zealand were part of a wider attack on Turkey and evidence of global anti-Muslim sentiment.
Before speaking with the ambassador, Mr Morrison told the ABC he was "very offended" with Mr Erdogan's remarks.
"I don't find these comments very helpful," he said.
"I don't find them very accurate or truthful as well, because the actions of the Australian and New Zealand government have been consistent with our values of welcoming and supporting people from all around the world."

Australian Brenton Tarrant is facing murder charges in New Zealand after a lone gunman opened fire at two mosques during prayers on Friday.
The massacre killed 50 people and left dozens of people injured.
Mr Erdogan, who has been touring the country ahead of local elections later this month, again showed excerpts of a video taken by the attacker during the mosque shootings and denounced what he called rising hatred and prejudice against Islam.
He criticised New Zealand and Australia for sending troops to Turkey in the World War I Gallipoli campaign, claiming their motive was anti-Islam-oriented.

"Australia has denounced, New Zealand has denounced, absolutely and completely, the act of extremist right-wing terrorism, white supremacist terrorism that we saw in New Zealand," Mr Morrison said before meeting with the ambassador.
"We could not have been more forward leaning in offering our great condolence and support to the Muslim community both in New Zealand and in Australia.
"I find the responsibility, in these situations, of all leaders is to take the temperature down on these issues, and I don't intend to seek to escalate that in the response I'm giving today."

Edit (the reason why i thought this deserved its own thread because it is to off topic from for the new zealend massacre)

The claim about a third target isn't new. It was first reported by media on the day of the shooting and they speculated it was the hospital as that was nearby and would have been an attractive target with first responders coming and going while transporting the injured.

The speculation was never verified, though.
The police weren't even the first to name a potential additional target. Tarrant wrote in his manifesto that his third "bonus" target was the mosque in Ashburton but he wasn't sure if he would reach it. If he was headed back in that direction when he was captured, it's probably not a police lie.

I know the NZ police want to save face. But seriously, it's Christchurch in New Zealand. No one was thinking that was the next potential terror target, for any group. Just admit that something like that has never happened, and was never expected to happen. And the worst thing you have to do on the regular is tell drunks to shove off home.

It's like saying you think the next big terror attack is going to be at the Church in Juneau Alaska. People would be like wtf get the fuck outta here.

People like to blame the media for being shit propaganda, but frankly, they were asking for it. People are just as much of the enemy to liberty as any government or institution.

People have been largely herd animals for thousands of years. You can't stop people being stupid and following the group. Or believing something that "looks official" it's why people have been taken for all their money in scams and cults for decades.

As someone who lives here, people are bending over for them and giving them anything they want. There are changes coming and our laws, freedom, liberties are being taken away to both appease them and make them feel safe. The censorship of human rights won't stop here. NZ is just the start.

I've tried to tell people that Islam and Quran advocates murder and violence towards non believers. That one day they will turn against the west. Their preachers preach they wish to take over the western governments and enforce their laws unto the people and murder those who resist. I just get islamophobia arguments and it's all hate speech in return. They're literally the only religion still at war with all the others.

I've even been banned from my own country's subreddit (/r/newzealand) for daring to ask "Where's the accountability for victims of Islamic attacks overseas that happen everyday, wheres the public outcry and justice for them?" which the reply was a ban.

This doesn't address my point. Policies and how to handle stuff on a nation's scale are a thing, while individuals are just individuals. Attacking the latter to address the former is just scapegoating and pulls everyone involved back.

The news tonight claimed that the police stopped memeboy as he was going to a third target. Seems like the police are trying to make themselves seem like they actually stopped something .

Um am I missing something? He shot up his first target. Stream ends with him on the way to his second...... and so police stopped him at the third target

Killing tourists and immigrants does in fact reduce tourism and immigration. Want to know why so few westerners visit Egypt to see the pyramids? Because they don't want to be machine-gunned or have their heads sawed off.

Islam has already turned on the west. Their retarded holy book decrees that all non-believers need to be subjugated or killed. I'm not sure how these people don't understand this shit.

Yes, the Bible has some fucked up shit in it, but it's nothing compared to the Quran. The Bible doesn't say to go out and subjugate those who are of other faiths, and to murder the ones who will not convert.

Nice way to piss off a country of red neck, beer drinking, convicts. Does this idiot think that he is going to get invited to the sunday b.b.q.
How upset is he going to get when some yobbo drops a pig head at their place of worship, has not happened here (Australia) for a while but i can see it making a strong return.

Absolutely. It's frightening for me to think of how much of the Western world might as well be under communist rule. They refuse to use critical thinking skills, and just go along with whatever they are told.

Yet WE get called pieces of shit and whatnot because we like to make fun of autists who put their whole lives on the internet.

It would ssem that Russia could be a very good option. My understanding is that there is very little tolerance for degenerate behaviour (pussy riot) & even less tolerance for those from the religion of peace, my only concern with Russia would be how much influence "gods chosen" have.

You really need to do your research if you think Russia doesn't tolerate Muslims. Russia bleeds money into Dagestan and Chechnya every year in a sad attempt to keep them pacified and keep the rulers there from turning away from Moscow and going back to their 90's era revolutionary breakaway mindset (see: 1st Chechen war, etc). I can somewhat understand that it's a bit of a "better the devil you know" situation - better to have a "Russian" buffer zone for all that ME extremism and drug trafficking, than to have Chechnya and Dagestan complicit in it and sovereign, and able to help them invade the border of "Russia proper" while the Russian border patrol does a piss-poor job of stopping it.

It's compounded by the fact that so many special operations forces come from and are in those places at all times, and because we have an integrated military which means if there was a "race war" along religious lines, we would not be able to fight it effectively.

Muslims are everywhere and it's only getting worse.

I might be new but from what I've read and seen, most of the people here are probably the most sane and rational out there.
