The claim about a third target isn't new. It was first reported by media on the day of the shooting and they speculated it was the hospital as that was nearby and would have been an attractive target with first responders coming and going while transporting the injured.

while i sort of agree with you on where police, understand we not like you guys who need guns to defend yourselves day in and day out, yeah the prick was an Australian who came here to get attention from groups like yours, it seems to be working.

Citizens should always have the right to have fire arms. Our gun laws don't need changing. We have strict laws already in place (before they end up changing) to get a gun license or even own a gun. Our gun clubs here in NZ heavily educate that guns are only to be used for sport and hunting and to be used responsibly. It wasn't a NZ'er who caused all this damage. Not really, Australia gave up most of it's guns because one mentally ill man shot a load of people 23 years ago in a small town in Tasmania. I think they are only allowed to have bolt action or single shot guns now. Also no airsoft, and paintball is strictly controlled.
