Not specific to [the current year], but "partner" is the most sterile, HR-compliant way of referring to another person, and it sucks because it obscures the nature of the relationship. "Partner" can mean almost anything depending on the context, which is why HR likes it and it's terrible for actual human communication.

Whenever you see someone talk about "queer folk/s" or "trans folk/s," you know there's going to be some exceptional shit on their TL. It has a very high incidence of overlap with the "I'm not here to educate you" self-righteousness, but even smarmier because of the condescending fake-folksy (fauxy?) demenor.

Not a particular phrase, but the co-opting of Black slang mannerisms by SJWs: y’all, woke, the hand clapping after every word. It reminds me of the old Paul Mooney bit from Chappelle’s Show: ‘Everybody wanna be a nigga, but nobody wanna be a nigga”. They’re ok acting like sassy black women while shitting on where they’re from.

I assume that the reason they keep adding to the acronym is because the amount of people that fit into those categories are much smaller than they let on. I mean to me, Transgender and Gay are two completely different things, but they got lumped in with everything else because, you know, strength in numbers.
I had never heard that term before.
I think it gave me cancer.

I've answered this elsewhere but I'll do it again: Demisexuality, no matter the term's origins, these days refers to having little or no sexual attraction to anything and in some cases no libido until and unless that person is with someone they're deeply connected to - from thereon they are only aroused by that person, and even non-sexual things they simply relate to the bonded person becomes sexually stimulating to them. It's like being asexual, except you can develop a love-induced fetish for an entire specific person... and nothing else does it for you.

Bad enough when it rules nine out of ten thesis statements at your local university, but it seems like every time I see it these days, it's usually some girl on Twitter or Instagram posting a picture of her tits and making some rambling post about how having hundreds or thousands of likes on said Titty Pic makes her feel like she can take on the world. Which says a lot more about her than it says about the world.
