I've never seen a case where telling someone the truth and giving them criticism so they can improve actually has the opposite effect on a person.

It has to be either to try 1 last time to talk some sense in to him (remember, they can't be very smart if it's taken this long to see him for what he is). Or it's because they know about this site and know we'll have a good chuckle. Either way we usually do get a giggle, if for no other reason, like you said, nothing happens. That picture is um... something... at this rate in a few years Dave's physical appearance will be almost as disgusting and repulsive as his personality and behavior. It's hard to tell what's deteriorating faster, his body, his mind, or his career. When Kat was recording this she had to have said something like "maybe you should put on a sweatshirt or something with long sleeves that hides those saggy tits, and we should move to somewhere with less... light, the light is not your friend". I bet if she did that dave would've said "why? I think I look pretty good, just like my streams, I may not be at the point I was in my body building days but I think my walking around the house for 10 minutes a day is really paying off, just stand there and hold the camera, I've been doing this for 10 years I know what I'm talking about".

I mean this is his downfall. He wakes up plays video games he sucks at for a living. He knows it. His ego knows it. He is fucking awful at games. He gets thrown quarters to do this too.

And thats his career. No one will ever be impressed. He will never have his father clap him on the shoulder and tell him he is proud of him ever again. Or at least in a way Phil knows he earned. He'll never get the big promotion, and he will never accomplish anything. Just make money.

And when he's done with work. He has nothing to go home to. No hobbies. He's never going to go out to the bar with his friends. He's barely got a house he can look at and call his own.

He doesn't even have a girl to go home to. Even if I'm being generous in saying Kat likes him. Look at how those two sit next to each other. I've had women sit next to me platonically more interested in me than that. Much less my soul mate.

He has a life with no future, no warmth, nothing and no one but his money. Would you want that? I wouldn't wish that on anyone. His hubris has caused his downfall. We're just watching, waiting, and deciding if we want him to even realize this.

That's such an accurate way to describe things and it's depressing. That's why I'd rather be poor (I am) but have a job where I actually help people and they genuinely thank me and appreciate my work.

Someone tweeted these to DrgnKiller; could it be that despite the low number of users and lack of posts it actually does a fair amount of traffic from lurking detractors and drives up costs? I feel like the WOOF drama might have caused a spike if those are from yesterday but still that's what 40:1 ratio? I'm 100% certain most niche forums like this don't do ratios like that.

What I think is that Dave has actually lost a bit of weight; but he lost both muscle and fat. What we see aren't actually tits, but just the saggy flesh left over as his pecs have melted away in the last decade. Cause while he was never fit, he was definitely beefy before, and had a pretty thick chest ten years ago.
