His art style has always been over stylized, difference being, when he first started out his comic had an art style much like those 2008 deviantart anims, the proto-animation memes, you know the ones....

(I'm sure there's plenty of people in this thread just the right age to recoil in physical pain from the negative nostalgia)

He developed this newest "furry radio tower" style very recently, he purged his entire account and started fresh after having been kinkshamed almost off the internet entirely, because DA and tumblr users seem to think sexual fetishism = endorsement.

His videos are pretty well animated (at least the only one that I watched is), but his OCs are SO STYLIZED that the video looks shitty.. Also he uses an effect that makes the video look vintage/like some 70/80’s anime... In general, it’s a deviantart animator’s wet dream, which explains his popularity in the animator’s community.

It's also a really popular style with younger "self-taught artist" types on Instagram for whatever reason. Regardless of which site it's from, it's definitely worse to look at, though at this point I'm not sure if it's because the style's visually obnoxious or because those who draw that way are obnoxious on their own.

it was a quick shitty example I made and I wasn't in the mood to dig through a DA page so I just slapped on the most commonly seen traits on the drawing, plz no bully

you're guarenteed to see the lazy line mouth almost anywhere on DA, the asscheek fluff isn't as popular as the line mouth although it's still pretty common, the big fluffy ears is also pretty popular too
