10/26- Chris uploads a video about the dimensional merge

Can you imagine how much worse this would be if he actually had a job and life before his mental breakdown? Look how bad it is with him coasting into it while getting everything handed to him and leeching off society. I almost wish he had some stress to see him actually go crazy instead of simply extending CWCville into a religion he stole from vidya.

There will always be people who want to fuck with Chris, and until Chris is in a group home or has someone responsible moving in with him to babysit him for the rest of his life, Chris will continue to fall for this bullshit. Not only that, but Chris refuses to do anything to improve his situation. So now many feel that Chris is a lost cause, beyond help, so...fuck it. Let him stand or fall on his own, and let's see where this train finally goes off the rails and wrecks for good.

I think you misunderstand the nature of what we're doing.

"Riding in and rescu[ing]" is a bad description of what's going on. That makes it sound like there's a lot of effort involved but there really isn't. The information was dropped into our laps and if we can say something, we might as well. It's opportunistic.

If these kids kept their spaghetti in their pockets a little better, and no information landed in my lap, then even if I suspected someone IRL was fucking around with him, I wouldn't do anything. I don't know, maybe I'd fire off an email to Rocky, but that's about it.

I think it's a bad idea to try to "help" Chris in his IRL life. Even if your heart was in that place, you'd never be a long term fixture in his life. Chris needs constant support and no one can do that without living in Charlottesville at least.

Taking care of an elderly or infirm person can be very stressful, even if you have a good relationship and have a sound mind yourself. Chris seems to feel like he shouldn't have to answer to anybody about anything, and he probably has some deep seated resentment towards her for interrupting his playtime and toy money. If he is as unhinged as he appears in the video, I could see him doing something to her out of frustration/resentment as he prepares for the impending CWCpocalypse.

That's a good point. I don't trust Chris to not snap under pressure and chimp out. Although I think he's more likely to sob and break down and go into hedgehog mode than get violent. But I'm not 100% confident of that.

Yeah it wouldn't take much, I mean I realize you have had contact with him for a long time, and I'm just an observer of the whole deal. I don't really see him snapping and stabbing or beating her to death or anything. More like if she interrupted his CWCpocalypse video yesterday to bitch about money when he was getting all worked up, all it would take for someone her age and apparent condition would be for him to push/startle her into falling the wrong way and that's it. He looked pretty off the rails.

Well, what exactly are you doing? It doesn't seem like you and The Captain are even on the same page. With Null's help you guys managed to stop him from sending money to his version of Joel Osteen and Peter Popoff - that's great. Someone's clearly still fucking with him despite all that.

All I can do is speculate based off Chris' past behaviors. The last time Chris had a world changing event happen to him, he and Barb tried to run over the man who caused it with their car. Since then he's gotten much, much worse mentally.

This is a whole new level of crazy if he believes what he's saying. Crazy that his healthcare professionals need to be aware of. Sure, it could be a man who's stuck at the mental age of 14 just playing and wanting others to play with him. Chris has always been screwy but since his trooning out he seems to be getting worse monthly. He's 36 years old now, it's not cute and funny if he's a risk to himself and others.

@The Captain was having trouble learning the fine art of telling Chris to talk to his shrink and fuck off. But I think he gets it now.

Someone is fucking with him, but it's almost out of my hands. At the end of the day, even assuming we kick out this current dipshit, Chris is alone in the world and vulnerable. Randos on the internet cannot be there for him in the way that he needs.

He got dealt a shitty hand growing up under Barb.

Contacting his healthcare professional might help. I don't know, what can they do? Just medicate him?
 
Could be medication, could be better therapy. He very well could qualify for an in-house care taker, especially with barb getting older. It would take a piece of his tugboat but I believe his quality of life would increase. I don't know what he'd qualify for and what Virginia has in place.

But no one is going to care after the “merge” I guess. The only thing that I can surmise is basically to leave Chris alone and let him rant about Sister Dimensions.
 
My two predictions:
  1. When our dimension does not merge with Chris's fairytale universe, he will have a complete mental breakdown and disappear from the internet for an unspecified period of time.
  2. Unable to cope with the fact that CWCville isn't real, his mind will convince him that the dimensional merger actually did happen bringing forth the full-blown-schizophrenia arc.
