Money Twitter 10/8 - Why Chris won't get a job

Well, he has mastered the riddle of fire..

Granted he needs a coffee maker and a frayed extension chord to do it..
I am sure the rest of the tribe would appreciate him burning down a hut that would have seen them survive the winter, along with barbs hoard of smelly old animal bones.

Well I for one am glad that Chris has his priorities straight and is working to keep our sister dimensions and yes, even our own, safe from evil forces.

If CWCville is a socialist utopia where nobody has to work then does that mean the economy will eventually suffer a collapse in the same way that Venezuela did?

ftfy.

Real question, but what jobs ARE out there for people with this level of delusion? Even bagging groceries requires some kind of mental aptitude...
Multiple grocery outlets will purposely hire slow in the minds for a tax break, so yes they can very easily do something as simple as bag groceries, fetch carts, mop floors, etc. There's jobs out there for people like Chris, he's just lazy and got accustomed to a certain lifestyle.

You know what? You're absolutely right, Chris.

Being able to have food on your table and pay your bills so you won't wind up sleeping in a storm drain is so over-rated. Fuck that shit, am I right lads?

Employment is optional? So CWCville is a Marxist dictatorship where people just get money and other things no matter whether they work or not? The plot thickens.

Cwcville clearly has people working. Granted, they are mostly all public sector jobs (Cops, Teachers, Bureacrats) with the exception of KCWC , some television stations and restaurants, but people are working in CWCville.

That's not even mentioning Soup Hotel staff, or Security guards (hired by CWCville Business Magazine's CEO of the Year; Mary Lee Walsh).

Chris doesn't even care about what little "lore" CWCville has anymore. It went from a Kanto/Station Square city with Pokémon and Sonic, to basically whatever makes Chris feel better. He doesn't even care about the franchise anymore. Not that he didn't have it as a hugbox in the first place, but now it's just boring wish fulfillment.

He got to go on a free outing after breaking the law, he's always able to pull out of any scrap scot-free and spends his days playing with toys people give him money for...

Not sure, but that sounds like he may be able to get by without a job.

Stress sigh. Chris has gone full Pmurt. Or someone is coaching him to sound that way. Either way, he lacks the self-awareness to notice. He's willingly trapped in a lotus eater delusion and sadly I can't forsee any way that he'll come back to something resembling reality.
