These carpet-bombing ad campaigns are the thing that exposes YouTube shills the most.

i am cautiously optimistic that the market will punish this bad behavior once videos like memology's make the rounds.

what's so pernicious is that they're mostly targeting kids who think they might have the gloomies and encouraging them to pay money to talk to strangers instead of talking to people close to them in real life and establishing close, human relationships.

i agree that it deserves a thread but i don't know where it would belong. presumably when it does find a home most of these posts will migrate there anyway. for now though all info on it is worth keeping track of.

Made a list of youtuber who were paid to shill this, still missing a lot of names however. Found out it's mostly women however still a few trannyies and dudesAlso they have got some youtuber which don't speak english and that they have only moved onto the bigger youtubers within the past 4 or so months.
Most of them also don't disclose that it's sponsored content.

Also found a article on huffingtonpost written by Sarah Fader which end up linking to betterhelp, if you look up Stigma Fighters which it states she is CEO of, that page also links to it and the way it is written of the Stigma Fighters page makes it seem like she works for them. "BetterHelp is the largest e-counseling platform worldwide, and we’re excited to see that it’s already making such a great impact. However, we are still just at the very beginning of this long journey. I invite you to join our mission – as a counselor, as a team member or as someone who may use some help to live better.", note in the huffingtonpost article she wrote it doesn't make note she works for them.

i agree this topic deserves a thread. it probably belongs in "Multimedia" rather than in the YT lolcow subforum. your draft OP has tons of info and is super useful, though it's lacking a bit in narrative content. Try turning the info into a story and then adding the dox and info on shills and the head yt shill recruiter therapist lady in the second part of the thread. Start with something like this:
