Damn it now I'm gonna autism here. Other than ego they're nothing alike. Dennis is a five star man who co-owns and runs an (arguably) successful business, has a gang of friends, can drive, gets laid frequently for free, is intelligent, and can close his mouth. He also gets to stop being Dennis at the end of the day and just be Glen Howerton, Russ is stuck as Russ.

Dennis is who Russ wishes he could be, Unfortunately he doesn't even come close to Charlie, let alone Dennis. He's a Cricket at best.
