At the end of it all, Hasbro makea more money and Chris buys all their garbage and remains unemployed as he remains blissfully unaware the power will go out soon.

The point is, Chris *hates* change coming to his favorite kiddie media. Still ... he gets new toys to waste the tugboat on, so it can’t be all bad.

Chris gets up in arms every time they announce a MLP reboot/spin-off. Then he ends up enjoying it and buying all the toys. So I don't think anything's going to happen, even though him using the phrase "I command you" is hilarious.
However, this is the first reboot they've announced since he latched on to the "sister dimension" stuff. So maybe he's going to take this one a lot harder if he believes Hasbro is actually destroying a dimension or something.

eh, it's probably like the "geewunners" of the transformers fandom. people that hate the new interpertation, even if it's better than the original. like how beast wars is objectively a better show than the original transformers, but it is still hated on even to this day, because "it's different than what i'm used to, i need my safe space where nothing changes"
