New thread about it by @Null, it appears it was self-immolation in protest about the poor treatment of the mentally ill and homeless. This is more activism than anybody else in the Rat King has ever done for anyone.
Chloe Sagal was a trainwreck of a person who alienated many with her aggressive and combative attitude and a penchant for going off the deep end at the most minor slights, but that wasn't fully her own fault. People couldn't give her the help she needed and this is where it apparently ends.
Hopefully people can use this as a starting point for a genuine conversation about the problems in thiscountries country's mental health system. If people choose otherwise well, they'd show their true colours. And deep down I think Chloe would be disgusted and appalled that some people may choose brush aside her true message in order to score ideology points against a website they have personal vendettas against.

She was always my favorite lolcow and someone who I probably know more about than some members of my own family. I felt like Charlie in the It's Always Sunny Pepe Silvia scene when I was deepest into trying to figure out her various names, personas and scams. She had a strong will, I expect she'll do pretty okay in the afterlife, depending on if and how it manifests.
Also, while I'm sure we'll get some blame for it, I'm honestly not sure if there's anyone left who really cared about Chloe in the trans community. She alienated everyone, often intentionally. I'm sure there will be a few dumb tweets blaming us, but can't see this being like the Elizabeth Waite situation at all.

Well this is really sad there are many cows on here who are people that are the worst kinds of people by choice but by all accounts this was a deeply troubled person who had genuine talent and abilities at game design that lost it all due to bad life choices and deep seated mental issues F.

I think there's three things we should all take away from this.
1. Chloe's death is a tragic reminder as to the importance of mental health care reform in the USA.
This is someone who needed help for years and didn't get it.
2. Chloe did more legitimate activism for what she actually cared about with this one action than most of the Rat King will do in their entire lives.
3. Chloe was fucking hardcore. Jesus.

The hideous troon community has only itself to blame. If you search Chloe on Twitter,it's literally all their own saying shit about them, to today boohooing coz she's dead. Yet KF still gets a mention because "wah, they may attack me for saying her name".
No one cares about attacking these people. They evidently do a good enough job of that themselves.

Alright, I wanna be clear about something here, and I think it's worth saying for everyone here and everyone in the other threads:
Neither I, nor (I believe) anyone else takes any delight in her death. It was an ugly result of a deeply ill human being who did a deeply stupid thing as the result of not receiving the permanent hospitalization and observation she absolutely required.
However, all the jokes, the mocking, the bullshit?
That is because there are people, many, many people, some who post on this thread, who would take this death and use it. People who were close to her and have ignored and blacklisted her for fucking years, people who would now claim this death as though it is their loss. As though they were there, and did not contribute to her downfall. People who didn't get her help. People who didn't reach out. People who would now act as though they did everything they could to help her and as though this death is in no way a result of their own failures to act.
Fuck those people. Fuck their performative grief. And fuck their belief that they don't get to be mocked while they pretend to grieve the loss of someone they never gave a rancid shit about before she torched herself.
Fuck every last one of them to the end of fucking time.
We see you.
