Is LTG truly that bad?

Yes, RobTV beat LTG handily in their set, but then Gllty beat RobTV handily in their own set on episode 4.

LTG has beaten Gllty in a best-of-five set before: https://youtube.com/watch?v=mR8UtFBMhcY
So by some transitive property/rock-paper-scissors logic, he can't truly be that bad, no? I know nothing about SFV and do wish LTG had gone further in the show, admittedly.

Rob beat him with guile though, a player LTG struggles with.

No, that is not the Twitch square his plagiarizing!

More whining on Twitter about players better than him
If wants more varied zoning options from his opponents, what’s he doing playing Street Fighter as opposed to pretty much every other 2d fighter? That’s just how zoning works in that series. I’m assuming it’s because SF supposedly gives more name recognition than MvC, GG, BlazBlue, or any of the NRS games. But that doesn’t any sense either considering the FGC is by itself the least glamorous section of the esports scene.

I like this guy's videos. I lost it when he pitch-shifted Gllty's voice.

We covered this a couple of pages ago. The reason why Dale does "okay" at Street Fighter V is that #1 it's a bad game that rewards randomness and scrubby gameplay. This is the community consensus. Top tournament and FGC people not on the E-sports train have said the same thing.

The #2 reason is that Dale (despite his nickname Low Tier God) almost always picks top tier characters and mainly sticks with Urien who is easily top tier, possibly a god tier character. Not to mention that Dale ragequits to get to Diamond rank.

Gllty is equally mediocre but at least sticks to Dhalsim.

I'd say he's decent but his issue is stubborness and unwilling to change.

Nigga is not a bad word, it is a greeting!

Predictable responses and says other people are narrow minded. He has like 5 stock insults ranging from GTAB and *Insert action* a dick in your mouth get that ass banned/blocked.

It always leaves me bewildered how he complains about characters acting like characters in Street Fighter. It's like complaining that you died from a grenade explosion and that people just using grenades is a problem. He calls Dhalsim players "pussies" and how they always wanna run when the character is designed to be played at a distance.

Especially since Dale's strategy is just to runaway and chuck fireballs whenever possible. The only way he'll be aggressive is if his character has a safe "get in" move like Urien's Shoulder Tackle.

He once claimed that players who uses Dhalsim are players who like to see their girlfriend with other men!

He's definitely not as mind-bogglingly bad at video games like the actual DSP, and he's managed to absorb a thing or two from playing fighting games for probably two decades, but his refusal to adapt and not blaming everyting but himself for scoring an L really holds him back from going beyond a mid tier player. As soon as something doesn't go his own way he gets flustered and turns his brain off, like the game's rigged up against him to begin with. He's also prone to just throw shit out without consideration of the circumstances, and then not change his game plan according to whether he got punished or not.

LTG, RobTV and Gllty are all mediocre at best. They're not bad players, but they're absolutely not great players, either. They're OK. Out of the three, I'd say Gllty is the worst and RobTV is the best. But they're fighting for scraps.

It's a bit sad, early on Gllty's Dhalsim looked kinda neat. I guess she just couldn't keep up with the tech of others once people started to catch up and figure out stuff with other characters.

People really do use cuck as a generic insult now. I don't see why playing a video game character would make someone a cuckold but to LTG it's the end all be all insult.

Visually his fighting style is very easy to pick up on as he tries to go for a balance of passive aggressive gameplay but finds himself more passive and in the corner most of the time.

He uses anything he can trying to appear as a "real man" compared to anyone that criticising him!

And he can't defend against throws for shit. Lucky him that SF V nerfed the fuck out of throws.
Covered one of his streams where he faced a Chun-Li with Urien and the other player was just pushing him constantly, he couldnt defend at all, he even failed at using the Aegis Reflector, defence is not his strong side!

He some how still manages to loss to them to or people just corner him. Once he gets locked in a corner he shuts down completely.

It maybe just me but calling people "cucks" without even remotely using the word right (just as a generic insult) is like DSP calling his detractors mentally ill for laughing at him. LTG can talk up his ego all he wants whenever a modicum of critique comes his way he whilts like a dying flower.

I think cuck is just a funny word. That's how I regard it 99% of the time. If you're using it in an un-ironic way and it's not referring to an actual cuck then yeah I would agree with you.

The more constantly and casual a word such as cuck or mentally ill is used to describe LTGs or Phils trolls and detractors, the more it loses weight or strength in my eyes when said by that person.
LTG calling people cucks is like him calling them idiots to me now, nothing you get really upset or angry over, it become a empty word used by a guy that tries to cover up his failed masculinity.

It's more of what Dragoonism said it's a funny word I agree but the way it's used as a generic insult like calling someone retarded or gay makes it lose weight in any arguement. It becomes watered down and empty feeling gaining no reaction because people like Dale use it without any context so it is lumped into the category of reject insults you throw at someone just for a weak reaction.

He uses it haphazardously so now no one is angry when he or anyone else uses the term. It's like Phil's "Mentally Ill" or "Obessed" insults (Him and Dale both use Obessed in the same exact way)

i feel this thread has a lot to do with street fighter so i just wanted to add this video, the neww character cody, played by the real life pro? wrestler Kenny omega, the live action is... eh.

I wonder if LTG will say his acting is whack, i feel like he might take the more lighter stance and say its "not who he thought shoulda been cody if they were doing a live action skit" hell his chat will most likely say HE would be a good cody and he would agree, ill most likley update this post with his reation video if its of any cow worthy substance.

No one but himself force him to do it, but good to know he throws away $12 on 2 slices of Pizza, mr "I dont like to waste money!"...
