Subpocalypse finally arrived. The subs will trickle down just a little bit more if I remember correctly (unless new subs come in). Here's part of why the drop was so precipitous:

Subs: 7 [6@$4.99, 1@$9.99, 0@$24.99, 0 gifted, 4 Twitch subs (57.14%), 5 resubs (71.43%)]
Subs: 9 [8@$4.99, 1@$9.99, 0@$24.99, 2 gifted, 4 Twitch subs (44.44%), 6 resubs (66.67%)]

Only 7 9 subs in chat today, and 5 6 were resubs (so no boost in subcount). (Edit: ) Swagginz decided to gift 2 subs! SoD2 has been a pretty big flop all told:

This is a fair point. I might try and see if I can figure out how many (unique) subs actually show up to his streams.

I'm fairly convinced that "followers" work the same way as "facebook friends" - people simply click the button out of habit, it's like a macabre collection of humans.

Yeah pretty much. He gets 1% of his followers on Twitch to show up on a good day, and gets less than 3.5% of his subscribers on YouTube to show up on a video or two a month.

If you think about it, this is 100% right, people want to troll, they follow, get banned for whatever then log out or make a new account, you can make many on a single email and i dont think theres a way to check what accounts are on what email, so there could be thousands of dead troll accounts in his follows.

but anyway swaggins is just going to try and bail him out again my guess is he will gift at least 40 subs. he has no problem giving tons of money lately. so will just gift a bunch of subs instead of bits. because he already has his 100k bit badge.

Kind of pathetic today he banned a guy for saying "king dont ban me just for this but your whispers are blocked have you realized with all that money you could have went on 3-4 sick vacations or gotten a pretty nice new car?" and instead of even responding he banned him like a pussy

chat was shitting on the game mercilessly and with no mods (until late in the first stream) trolls were running rampant. The best part was watching subs, people with recognisable names shitting on the game. But he cant say its shit, he has to make his money back for paying for early access (and there werent many cheers/tips from what i saw)
