General Wrestling Discussion

Solid match, nothing life changing. The Black Plague (Barbarian Caveman, Mr Niebla, Negro Casas) vs The Axis of Evil (Sam Adonis, Okumura, and Johnny Idol [not the Lucha Underground/AAA/Impact guy])

So is John Cena wrestling the Undertaker this year at Mania or not?

I think he'll do a promo at mania and Mark will appear. Though it would be a Russo like swerve if he never shows up.

Just finished watching the go home show for Raw...It was terrible. Mania's card looks good, but this Raw doesn't give me any hope for it.

Última edición:
He's gonna call out the Undertaker, the lights will go out, the gong will sound... and there will stand Heath Slater.

"I'VE GOT KIDS," will scroll across the Titantron in twenty-foot-tall letters, and the two of them will have a five-star, 20-minute classic, the last 6 minutes of which they will both be entirely naked, trading finishers while the crowd chants "this is wrestling."

That's according to a leaked script.

I gotta admit, Brains Strowman made me laugh last night. "My brother's Brawn. I'm Brains Strowman, and I'm coming down there to beat both of yours outta your heads."

Universal Championship -- Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns: Reigns. Brock’s on his way out the door.

WWE Championship -- AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: AJ.

Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H: Rousey/Angle. The E’s put too much money into bringing her in to make her look weak.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn: Owens/Zayn.

SmackDown Women's Championship -- Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Asuka: Asuka.

Raw Women's Championship -- Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax: Jax.

Intercontinental Championship -- The Miz (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor: Rollins, though I don’t think the feud will end.

United States Championship -- Randy Orton (c) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev: The concessions stand workers, because this has cool-off match written all over it. Ehh... Orton.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship -- The Usos (c) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers: New Day, with a rematch at Fastlane.

Raw Tag Team Championship -- The Bar (c) vs. Braun Strowman & TBD: Strowman, with no partner.

Cruiserweight Championship -- Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali (Kickoff Show): Alexander.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (Kickoff Show): The only wrestler with any heat is Matt Hardy, so I’ll pick him.

WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal (Kickoff Show): Who the hell cares? Fuck, I don't recognize half the names in there. I don't know... Sasha Banks, maybe?

The Undertaker vs. John Cena: 50/50 on not happening. If it does, I'll pick Undertaker, simply because this would be three losses in a row for him otherwise.

I'm willing to bet that Ronda jobs to Steph somehow. Probably the old "hit in the head via contrived coincidence, and the beaten opponent crawls on top for the lucky pin", though I wouldn't put it past Steph to decide that's not good enough she needs to hit a pedigree.

Speaking as someone who still loves Ronda, the only way this wrestling thing is going to work out for her is if she puts on good matches, and between skipping developmental and being tied to Steph (and you know that's not going to end any time soon) she's not going to get a chance to learn to work, and so far this whole thing has been as painful to watch as the Nunes match.

Yeah this really should have been some talented gal that Steph has do the dirty work or something.

As it is there's basically no full-time wrestlers in the match.

Obviously it's easy to point to lolWWE and Steph/HHH's ego and say they're dropping the ball, but there's also a possibility that Ronda really sucks at wrasslin and this is just trying to get the most mileage out of the investment they've made.

There's that blind item making the rounds about Ronda not wanting to work with darkies, too.

Have Angle play Ricky Morton (but oh god don't take a bad bump), tag Ronda in and have her put out HHH by submission within seconds. Build her up like Goldberg in squash matches through the next year and have her face Asuka streak vs. streak at next year's mania.

It's not that hard to fuck up.

Evolve was great last night. I'd thought Matt Riddle might be overhyped but it turns out he's not. He and Zack Sabre Jr. put on a main event I'll remember for a longggg time. Keith Lee is also a beast and exciting to see in person.

Gonna see Progress today or tomorrow, which I'm bloody well chuffed about. Saturday night I have to make the very hard choice between NXT TakeOver & Supercard of Honor. I'm going with Supercard, but not without some pangs of regret.

I don't usually watch ROH/NJPW but I caught Omega vs Cody.

Not bad stuff.

Spirit Squad over in HOH was fun too.

Sorry for double posts.
