Definitely. He would thrive going back to Chesterfield. It's a safe area and short commute to Richmond which has plenty of bigger nerd weirdos. Considering Chris' newfound confidence and seemingly able to obtain friendship in real life, I wouldn't at all be surprised if he just started driving to other cities to their game places. He drove to a city that's a little over an hour away just to buy amiibos, after all.

I think we go over this everytime Chris finds a new place. The "I don't believe Chris will be banned because he can fade into a background of weirdos" always seems a bit presumptuous to me. I mean, we all assumed that Chris was getting along fine at this place, albeit a bit begrudgingly. From everything we've seen about Chris, from being on the news to taking photos at University events, he loves to attract attention to himself. He probably does this unconsciously after being neglected by two geezers during his formative years, but the pathology still remains. Half of it is his autism, but the other half is him feeling like he's always ignored by neurotypicals and weirdos who are weirded out by his presence. I'm not trying to be rude or dismissive of Chris, but as long as he seeks attention and has a fetish for "belonging", he's going to get banned from places. We all want to feel a sense of belonging, but Chris takes it to the next level. It's pretty obvious, his room is covered in troon/dyke memorabilia, and he's always wearing something that has to do with lesbians or LGBT. Also, the claims that he was sponsored by end of games, these are all pretty much evidence of Chris' "all or nothing" relationship with belonging.
It's almost like, when he is accepted on face value as a friendly slow-in the minds, which he can be at times, he just wants too much after being accepted.
The only way Chris can ever truly change is if he figures out why he wants so much from people around him.

He hasn't lost his shit on this one like at the Game Place. Maybe he finally realized that his behavior led to his ban. Only reason I say this is because he hasn't started whining about it, projecting the blame onto the store, rather than on his own failure.

Problem is, Chris has those places, but the modicum of decorum that he has to come up with to have a meaningful time, isn't there. Chris has issues, it's obvious, and people are tolerant, but then he just ends up going too far and consequences happen.

If he could knock that kind of stuff off, he would have an okay time at these places.

I understand, but I also think that Chris has this unconscious belief that people should accept him, no matter what. I wonder if someone at End of games could be having a normal conversation about how their kid's are growing up and changing, and he interjects with, "my lactating breasts are growing big and strong, and soon, I'll be a real woman".
He obviously acts like he's at home sitting in his underwear everywhere he goes after he gets comfortable. Just from the photos at cons and in public, he looks weird, so I can only imagine how weird, annoying, and disruptive he may actually be in real life when he thinks no one is watching and that everybody loves him.

The long commute to a hang out might be a good solution because he would be less likely to overstay his welcome. Maybe if practical constraints prevented him from frequenting a place, he could remain a grudgingly welcome occasional visitor at a hobby store for a longer time.

We don't know the details of End Games, but we do know what happened 10 years ago at GamePlace and my sense is that it was probably similar. There are a lot of specifics, but I think the general theme of the GamePlace saga was this.

Chris is clearly a special character, and that is going to encourage your average man on the street or business owner to forgive him a lot of stuff because "he doesn't know better". He wanders into your store, and out of some combination of pity, not wanting to create a scene, and a desire to be (or be perceived to be) inclusive, you figure the best thing to do is let him do his thing and move on.

But Chris latches on to places he likes and frequents them. This puts business owners in a tight spot. They might still be reluctant to ban him for the above reasons, but his presence makes it a less pleasant place to work or shop. It's probably more a stream of little things than one big thing. A stream of inappropriate comments, inserting himself and taking control of events in an awkward way, a lack of personal boundaries, a somewhat jarringly bizarre appearance. But the longer you let him stay, the more comfortable he gets, the more time he spends there, and the weirder he gets when he is there. It's not a sustainable situation, and it inevitably spirals towards a ban.

I agree, you don't get banned for boring things like chewing too loudly or cluttering up a place.
