One time, although I forget what the context was, PK went off on twitter about something and Nymlus of all people responded and said what she said was uncalled for. Even if he's a degenerate, at least he's not self-absorbed like the rest of her harem.

That said, I never liked Nymlus. It's bad enough that his character reminds me of the baby dragon from MLP, he's always commissioning weird niche bestiality and dubcon. It's amazing that he's able to find artists besides PK to do commissions for him.

Professors do not care if you draw porn in art school. Students have drawn furry porn for assignments, but justified it. Students have sketchbooks full of weird porn that teachers have to sift through, on top of incomprehensible art pieces that deal with sex in bizarre ways.

It's incredibly hard to get expelled for your art. I've done far worse than PK in art school and they barely raised an eyebrow. It's only a problem if you say sexual things, then the faculty swoops down from the rafters and choke-slams you into the canvas.

But more often than not, their comments missed the mark on whatever I was going for, or were just "oh it's pretty" or the like."

And in another post, where she's talking about a 3D art class she had to take: "It was exceedingly hard to care, and I continually didn't do much better than a B because I had no idea what I was doing and didn't know how to pretend to want to be in the class." Later she's talks about an oil painting class that she did like, but even she admits that a lot her work in that class was bad.

pk's beginning rant is about this, and powerlevel me, but as someone who does commissions and digital drawing. shading with black always looks like shit.
like i browse the dobson thread and i noticed he uses black to shade with. his artwork always looks flat and muddied because of that. it's weird that she points that out as incorrect when she also does traditional work, and you never see anyone using black to shade their work traditionally because it muddies the colors.
i know she did that really good color tutorial and no where it mentions, 'hey go ahead and use black because you don't know how to blend'.

New artists don't understand this fact about art:

Value= how much depth space recedes and pulls
Shading= how round an object is

PK's art has tons of shading and no value, which is why it is flat. All of the characters occupy the same space because she rarely adds black to define the foreground/background/middleground.

Shadows and lights are actually cool and warm colors. Shadows tend to be blue or purple, as apposed to pure black, so black shadows are flat and unrealistic. PK needs to stop giving misinformed or half-baked advice on art since she quit before teachers could slap her shit.

The whole rant boils down to "I don't care about other people's work. Their effort and opinions are meaningless to me. They think wrong things about my art because they don't understand it." It's the same attitude she displays on every social media site she's on. She hasn't grown or changed as a person at all since that point.

Nymlus likes weird/gross porn, but overall he seems pretty harmless. He's not making mean posts or virtue signaling like PK is. His support of PK seems to be so he can get content that he likes and not because he's attached to her socially.

I'm guilty of using grays, but then again I shade with mechanical pencils before going over with the color-if I even shade at all. But since we're on art critique and methods mode: She could well enough leave the androgynous characters like Charthur out of the porn comic so people would keep guessing about their parts but nah, the need to flick the bean overrides any decent characterization or visual presentation.
-Once you undress them the androgynous design is ruined and serves no purpose, PK. Talk to me about shading with black later when you get other basics down.

Because PK (and the majority of her followers) like the prepubescent little girl/little boy flat chest look in their porn. Lily has it, Neon has it, Beleth, Orobas, Jasmaby, Charthur, all the oneshot characters...
Only characters that are supposed to be authority figures, characters we're supposed to dislike, or fetish pandering seem to have boobs. It does raise quite a bit of questions, we might not like the answers though.

Omfl, GP pulled the "It was all just a dream" shit. I know it's common but that doesn't stop it from being lazy. Those tedious pages of nothing happening were lazily shoved in, and now we get to do it all over again with Lily! (It will probably also end as a dream in a dream, with Neon still being on the floor of the lab because that is the kind of lazy writing anyone would expect.)

That entire sequence of Neon trying to drive away but ending back up at the same place could have been conveyed in a couple of pages, instead it took 8 pages and almost 3 weeks of updates to show the same thing over and over and over. Is it just me or has the pacing ever since call sign started been atrocious? Before now PK was spastically changing scenes every 2-3 pages, now she's hanging on the same scenes that are unnecessarily long and add nothing to the narrative that couldn't have been done in half that amount of pages. Cozmo's scenes were the same thing, just Cozmo wandering for way too many pages.
