As a giant mark for all things Mr. Monday Night, Rob's singlet is by far the worse I've ever seen him in, but the pure uncut autism of the entire piece simply is overwhelming.

This confirms Chris does absolutely no sketches before drawing the actual picture, unless he transfers final lines to a clean page (doubtful). Can't wait to see Trickie's version of this scene in comparison and full 64-bit colour.

It also confirms that Kel is either a midget, or Chris forgot Rosechu is 3'10".

So the other day my husband was all "I got you a gift, it will be here in a couple days. You might be mad." So I thought it was probably a video game that he mostly got for himself and I completely forgot about it. Until today when I checked the mail and instantly knew what it was.

Here he is, in all his matte finish photo paper glory. So I've decided to frame this and hang it riiiight over my husband's main monitor. Or probably not, so I never ever have to explain to my kid who this guy is. THANKS HUSBAND. A GIFT FROM SEPHORA WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TOO.

Actually, I've noticed that Chris draws his Sonichus and Rosechus at the same height as just about everyone else, including himself. Either he's doing this on purpose, or because he's too lazy to think about scaling. I think we know which one it is.

I don't think that the Pokemon anime uses their listed heights from official materials or the video games either. Plus, Chris doesn't have a solid grasp of units of measurement. He probably just picked random "official" heights for them, so they could be like "real" Pokemon, and then drew them however he wanted.

Like everything else, he's inconsistent as fuck. I remember the Chris-chan Sonichu Uncomfortably Hugging Megtune picture emphasized the height difference and for the first episodes he and Sonichu are more or less correctly heighted when side by side. Around issue 7 he starts going back and forth on the same pages, then by his triumphant return in 10 he only remembers the height difference when they're literally right beside him like in the mid-battle Totally Straight announcement.

I don't expect anything better, but sentient creatures dealing with a world not quite meant for them and their size would be an interest story aspect, which Chris seems to be allergic to.
