Crime D4vd Arrested for Murder of Celeste Rivas - Groomer turned baby mama murderer finally gets comeuppance

Singer D4vd has been arrested for the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was found dead in Hollywood in the trunk of his Tesla in September.

According to the LAPD, D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was arrested by the Robbery-Homicide Division for the murder of Hernandez and is being held without bail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday for filing consideration.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they were investigating a trip the 21-year-old took to the Santa Barbara area sometime during the spring of 2025 following Hernandez’s death. A spokesman for the musician said in September that he was “fully cooperating with authorities,” though as of Nov. 18 NBC Los Angeles reported Burke was no longer cooperating with law enforcement.

Officers were called to a tow yard on Sept. 8 following reports of a foul odor coming from the car, which had been on the property for several days. Police found a dismembered body that had been placed inside of a bag in the front trunk of the vehicle.

The car was registered in Hempstead, Texas to Burke and impounded after being abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, where neighbors complained of a rotting smell. As of Sept. 9, the case was being treated as a death investigation.

Hernandez was reported missing from her home in Lake Elsinore, Calif., last year. She was last seen in April 2024, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. After her body was found, police said that because a manner of death had not been determined.

Shortly after the discovery, Burke quietly canceled his U.S. tour and postponed the promotion of his deluxe album.

So it's possible for a pregnant 13 year old rape victim in California to walk into Planned Parenthood by herself and get an abortion without parents or police being informed.

I believe the logic is as follows: it's highly possible and even probable that the pregnancy is a result of abuse at home (either a related male rape or just a toxic family life that pays no attention to the pregnant kid). If you put barriers up between someone in that situation and safe pregnancy termination, you're going to not get less abortions, you're just gonna get a lot of dead girls who tried doing shady at-home options.

I agree that PP or whoever should be more concerned and I know in at least a few instances they'll call the police. But they also aren't detectives, right? They shouldn't be grilling some pregnant teenager who doesnt feel safe talking about it. That's the Police's job. Except if the PD get a call from PP saying "yeah this 13 y/o got an abortion and wouldn't tell us who the Father was" it doesn't exactly give them a lot to go on.

It's not a perfect system, but Id rather dumb 13 year olds get the safe abortion, personally.

Something tells me they won't need any incentives.

You are not allowed to exercise, go out in the yard, or to interact with gen pop in any way. You get to shower once a week and anytime you are out of your cell you are put in Ghost of Christmas Past levels of chains and shackles.

Even if D4vid never actually gets executed pursuing the death penalty is worth it to ensure the next 60 years are as miserable as humanly possible.

I have seen this song released on Youtube. It is simply known as "Celeste", and is supposedly an unreleased demo from when she was 13. Almost everyone in the comments of its release say it is authentic, made when he started this sick relationship, and not a hoax.

Send the appeal court a transcript of the trial and if it's happy with proceedings they have to face the wall immediately.

There's something extra sleazy about the fact that had he not murdered her, he likely would have just continued his career without any issue except maybe a slap on the wrist if his relationship came out at the wrong time.
