Rubio has shown he is an able enough person to day to day operations and he is better than anything in the Democratic party and most Republicans. But his Neo Con roots have me really worried. I have no idea what Rubio would do not serving a master. I dont think anyone does.
Vance discusses what he thinks about things on a foundational level. Stuff like Rogan. I have never heard Rubio explain how Republicans have to do better and pivot from what they have historically done sense Bush. Maybe i missed it?

this has nothing to do with it, the US really does have freedom of religion and specifically non-trinitarian groups like the Unitarians and Christian Scientists have flourished - people forget how large and wellfunded the latter was becuase they're basically gone now but in the early 20th century they were a big deal, and US mainstream culture had no problem with them. Conversely the US did not like Catholics much until pretty recently.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the neo-con roots, so far I love his foreign policy record, particularly with Iran and LatAm.
Rubio lacks a loud online presence besides the meme thats hes taking every available position. I think this work to his benefit though. The normies are really exhausted from Trump. The circus has been going on for 11 years now and by 2028, everyone will want someone more reliable and calmer, which would work to his benefit.
I do find Rubios lack of transformation of the party to be concerning and potentially a weak point, but Im holding out hope. Trump overhauled the RNC and now its a machine far stronger than ever before so they can help push him in the right direction. My worry is he will renege on MAGA at the first sign of pushback but theres one year left till campaign season.
