I think its just become unfeasible to appease people in the short term, so he's just focused on making changes that will have impact long term, and building out the stock market because he actually can impact it quickly.
Stocks tanked HARD, the Nasdaq was down an absolutely bonkers 4% in a day if I recall, on the jobs report prior to the last one, because it was so much stronger than expected. A strong job market gives the Fed room to hike rates to cool inflation that has been well above its 2% target, and hiking rates is something Trump has been sperging out about forever. That rally in metals at the end of last year and the start of this one was largely due to this understanding that Trump’s top economic priority was the Fed lowering rates no matter what. He ended up picking a reasonable, responsible Fed chair, and metals tanked like shitcoins and have been about as compelling as crypto this year ever since.
This can all be undone overnight. It takes extraordinary effort to deport even a fraction of the illegals here, and so much more effort to get rid of "legal" immigration. So, yes, while I agree that most of the US' problems would be fixed by mass deportations, it's going to take political will to stick to the course.
Fighting the judges can't happen until your own party in the Senate is firmly on your side, which it simply isn't. The first time the Trump admin openly defies a judge, they are rolling the dice on 9-10 Republican Senators seizing the opportunity to eliminate MAGA and joining the Democrats to remove him from office.

I know people freak out about Texas going blue every senate race but Paxton is genuinely a bad candidate, and Trump is sacrificing a conservative majority to try and get more blackmailable yesmen in office. Young people have no reason to vote for Paxton since he's committed to marching them to death in jew wars, and old people hate him because he's le heckin racist and has been stealing money from the state for decades

The good faith argument against it is that, if we're not developing our own things in house, then we're reliant on an Israeli contractor to maintain and secure that system. This introduces extra vulnerabilities and points of leverage in what may be critical systems for national defense. That said, all our shit is like Swiss cheese already, so it doesn't matter much. Also I recall it not needing regular votes to continue programs, like with other defense contracts, so there's the potential for zombie tech that gets funded forever, while doing nothing.
