Ding Dong went on how the thumbnail used on the Dustborn video was deliberately making fun of SJWs, as apposed to the studios terrible design and writing, which he took offense to. He had no problem being apart of this video though

I think this has to be some psychological thing beyond just troll's remorse since another GG adjacent person from way back in the day that I knew of practically trooned out and turned tail in just 10 years.

It has to be some social-psycho whatever flavor of the same kind of people who swap teams in games when they start losing or it gets too difficult.
