It's not Californians or New Yorkers who you have to be worried about. For every leftist Californian/New Yorker who moves to Texas/Florida, there are 100 conservatives who make the locals look like commies, and 1000 Latin Americans/Indians who came from overseas (and vote for the left). It's just acceptable to hate on your fellow Americans, while it's completely unacceptable, even as a conservative, to even think about blaming immigrants for the problems they cause. Leftists hate red states and will never move there unless forced to by an employer; they're not moving en masse to red states. If you talk to one they'll tell you how they're afraid of their wives dying from not being able to get "women's healthcare" or their future trans kids killing themselves after being denied "gender-affirming care". The one exception is Colorado and that is only because they were the first state to legalize marijuana (thanks Libertarians!).
