This sounds less retarded than what we have now, but corporations have been using imported foreign labor to avoid paying American labor for so long because the incentives are there. Legal or illegal, immigrants will work for cheaper because in many cases, even suppressed wages are more take-home pay then they'd get back in their home country. So a UAE model is only a partial solution. There needs to be incentive against importing foreigners to avoid paying Americans.

We already have 45 million in obsolete farm equipment with the majority on welfare. They are willing to work for the wages the farmers are currently paying but we keep them on welfare. Why are the borders even open?
