You're getting the Dead Rising 4 treatment where it's just 1,2, and NV's rehashed into a single game.I'd hope its in a part of the country we've never seen before like say Texas, Orleans, the Midwest.
The realist in me says it'll be the most coattail ridding game. NV, or the whole west coast for that matter, doesn't need a sequel in any way shape or form.
The Classic option: It's set in Oklahoma and tornadoes are now an environmental hazard you have to look out for.I'd hope its in a part of the country we've never seen before like say Texas, Orleans, the Midwest.
but it could be better87 is general third world IQ.
Are you so retarded that you think this negates what I said? Or do you think I'm retarded and don't know that DOOM started in the 90s? DOOM Guy is Mary/Gary Stu and has been since day one. He suffers no real setbacks, has no struggles, no hesitation, never loses, never looks weak, is the only one who can and will get things done etc. This has been the case forever. You don't know what you're arguing about.Doom 1993 was the first Doom, not Doom 2016. Doom guy was a normal guy, not some Devantart OC guy. He wasn't the chosen one. He wasn't put through special training. He was a regular marine on Mars. If Romero and Carmack had the tech of 2004. Doom 1 would had been Doom 3.
Would you look at that, the guy who got filtered out by the early game of Fallout 2, that is easy enough to be conquered by children by the way, is a massive tourist! Who would have seen THAT coming? No wonder any conversation about this franchise with you is a waste of time if you don't know half the games released for it.I'd hope its in a part of the country we've never seen before like say Texas, Orleans, the Midwest.
The demasters were in works for years and are probably ready to be released now, I have no clue why they held off on releasing them until now. What we will see from Obsidian will be NV2 with Outer Worlds gameplay and plenty of connections to the TV show, that's all Fallout is now, memberberries and RPG lite gameplay for morons to reach the widest possible appeal. Then again, considering some of the users in this thread, can you even blame them?I would like something different. not New Vegas 2. I feel like Xbox will tell them what to do in regards to the setting. I'm not really that interested anyway,, since it takes fucking ages to make a game now days. more interested in the Fallout 3 and New Vegas remasters, since they might actually release in the next 12 months
More like 3 and 4 with sprinkles of New Vegas and plenty of TV show content. Again, this isn't some love letter to the franchise, this is going to be a turd that capitalizes on all the new retards who bought Vault Tec popcorn buckets when Season 2 released. You're getting the Dead Rising 4 treatment where it's just 1,2, and NV's rehashed into a single game.
He loses his pet rabbit and you say he doesn't suffer any setbacks. You have no heart. Are you so retarded that you think this negates what I said? Or do you think I'm retarded and don't know that DOOM started in the 90s? DOOM Guy is Mary/Gary Stu and has been since day one. I'd love for it to be in a new place, like New Orleans or some other places already mentioned.you guys think the new obsidian game is gonna be a direct sequel to NV? or something set in another city?
Check out what Obsidian did to Avowed and Outer Worlds 2. This is exactly what you're getting. Hey, look at the bright side, this might be the first Fallout game where combat isn't hot garbage! And don't expect it to have any deeper RPG mechanics than Fallout 4
Please, don't make me laugh.this might be the first Fallout game where combat isn't hot garbage!
Oh no, the combat in those games is about the only part that is universally liked. Plus, it's still better than the laughable attempt at gunplay in 3D Fallout games, even in F4 it's absolute ass. Please, don't make me laugh.
Fallout 1 and 2 had decent combat.Check out what Obsidian did to Avowed and Outer Worlds 2. This is exactly what you're getting. Hey, look at the bright side, this might be the first Fallout game where combat isn't hot garbage!
Combat in F1 and F2 isn't really comparable to 3D entries, and even then it only got "good" in Tactics(you know, game that most of you didn't play) since it expanded on the mechanics and centered an entire game around them. Don't make me laugh about putting Obsidian on a "tight leash", just look what happened to Halo, Xbox's shining jewel. This game will be made quickly and on the cheap, therefore it will just recycle the engine and assets of the last few games Obsidian made with some new Fallout assets(probably outsourced from jeets or ported over directly from the upcoming F3/NV demasters).Fallout 1 and 2 had decent combat.
But I don't think we can really go by Avowed and TOW2, Microsoft is gonna have them on a tight leash and they'll want to have as much mass appeal as possible. It'll probably have decent combat, yes, but I do not expect the game to not be a tie-in to the TV show.
It was servicable for a cRPG.Combat in F1 and F2 isn't really comparable to 3D entries, and even then it only got "good" in Tactics(you know, game that most of you didn't play) since it expanded on the mechanics and centered an entire game around them.
Yeah, that's what I mean by keeping them on a tight leash. They'll have to shovel out a TV show tie-in that's going to be as bland to play as humanly possible.Don't make me laugh about putting Obsidian on a "tight leash", just look what happened to Halo, Xbox's shining jewel. This game will be made quickly and on the cheap, therefore it will just recycle the engine and assets of the last few games Obsidian made with some new Fallout assets(probably outsourced from jeets or ported over directly from the upcoming F3/NV demasters).
>literally dies in the last level of knee deep in the deadAre you so retarded that you think this negates what I said? Or do you think I'm retarded and don't know that DOOM started in the 90s? Don’t forget the lazy retards at Bethesda spawning the wrong object in the armory and giving you powered armor that doesn’t degrade, even though the correct object exists in the game code, and never bothering to fix it!Normally I'd criticize Operation Anchorage basically just being a CoD campaign but I do enjoy shooting things. Especially with Fallout's comically violent combat.
Plus it introduced a way to get power armor training without interacting with the Lyons Brotherhood so that's an automatic plus.
What series of measurements is necessary to prove that 87 is just exactly the right amount of antisemitism?cool it with the antisemitism
I think its been said in this thread before that without Bethesda's rape of the IP, we would have never gotten New Vegas. And FNV is preferable to Van Buren, and I don't care what 30+homosexuals says, that game was going to suck and would have been the last entry in a franchise that would have been quickly forgotten.Fallout NV remains that once in a lifetime lightning in a bottle project
From my understanding New Vegas was basically the closest thing we got to Van Buren anyway considering how many concepts and characters they reused from Van Buren for the main game and the DLC.FNV is preferable to Van Buren
