We don't really do plea bargains unless you're grassing up other people in which case it wouldn't even get near a court. The CPS usually sticks people on for the weakest charge that fits so they don't fuck up their conviction stats.

Western Countries™ all have separate and different legal systems. Even the UK has 3 separate legal systems due to how it's been stitched together over the centuries. The closest we get to a plea bargain here is the automatic 1/3 reduction in your sentence if you plead guilty at the earliest opportunity i.e. at the first court hearing. The automatic reduction decreases with the amount of time you spend on the wrong side of the bench. The cops and CPS won't bother taking cases to court that don't have a good chance at securing a conviction so about 90% of all court cases start with a guilty plea.

British state goes after the Tate brothers because only the government and NGO's are allowed to sex traffic. They're protecting there monopoly.
