Because he won 2024 despite their cheating, and because they and the press have unrelentingly insisted he's been wrong this whole time about the rampant, obvious cheating in 2020 that literally everyone could see from a mile away. I hate to doompost, but if the 20+ million voter discrepancy the night of the 2024 election, made up only by months-long counting of mail-in ballots in California, didn't convince people that the Democrats cheated in 2020, then nothing will. Trump isn't getting back the years of 2020-2024 and neither are we. At this point, barring a complete bombshell, nothing will change this.
At this point, anyone who takes a major news network sound byte of Trump at face value and believes it wouldn't watch the address anyways. Most moderates and centrists learned quickly this time around with his administration that about 75% of the time, whatever inflammatory sentence being AGGRESSIVELY kept at the top of the meta on social media usually has a context different than the one presented.
