See, thats what I thought the benefit of them abusing podcasts would be. You listen to these people and there is nothing there. No high technical knowledge, no passion for anything, these are empty people. They just quote latest pop sci and pop history books, and whatever talking points they have. Their books have been the same for 100 years. "Try to have an original idea.". "Try to do a monopoly.". "Minimise loses and maximise profit.".

Yet the comment sections glaze them.

Elon Musk has been crashing out about DOGE cutting USAID for days now. But here is something I would like to share:

Scrolling through his Twitter feed is a nightmare, so sorry I don’t have more. Just picture a timeline full of nonsense, and that’s his page.
Was wild also watching the online right shift the goal posts and give up arguing that USAID wasn't helping anyone and instead argue that any of that charity to other countries was simply wrong. So you have midwits like Rufo now trying to act like it's emotional blackmail to say charity can help anyone in these countries and that the help won't be there after the cuts.

They're kinda stuck in this position of having to defend something ridiculously unpopular and their only argument is that they shouldn't have to defend it.

It continues to baffle me how he communicates and argues like a 12 year old.
Because autistic people have trouble discerning meaning and nuance from subtle social cues, they often try to compensate by simply mimicking the way other people behave. When the person they pick for their reference point is Donald Trump, well...

Yeah, that's why Elon and USPG2 MAGAloids act like 4chan edgelords. Their spaztic brain doesn't know what real human behavior is like so they just mimic 4chan retards since it's pretty much their entire socialization

I hate that this greasy ratfaced fuck is trying to insert himself into Our Democracy here in the UK, it's so transparently obvious that it's just an ego thing too, if this were 10+ years ago he'd be throwing money at Hope Not Hate or something because all he cares about is the popularity contest. Fortunately everybody gets the ick and he's got no hooks in, as of yet, but sooner or later someone will crack and we'll have another faction advocating musksucking like it was always a good thing, bleh.

I remember when Shatner went up on that rocket or whatever with Bezos and tried talking about intense emotional experience of it only for Bezos to start popping champagne behind him to party it up.

I think it's similar to what happens with Musk where they're often just enjoying their little echo chambers and have zero idea how to relate to people outside of it.

Key difference though is Bezos is wanting to party, get ripped (with TRT or whatever), and generally enjoy life, meanwhile Musk's way of trying to get people to rally around him is getting involved in politics that are incredibly unpopular and off-putting with the general public.

Then you also have the fact that he is so wealthy and has his echo chamber that it means it'd be next to impossible for him to have some moment of realization that he should just back off this stuff and do 'fun' stuff if he genuinely wants the public to like him again.

Fuck him and all the overpaid "anti-woke" streamers who obsess over every shitty new movie that comes out and bitch about how woke it is + how "whiteness is under attack" despite being the least traditionally masculine / most degenerate men in society today, or possibly ever.

"A U.S. judge signed off on Elon Musk paying $1.5 million to end a Securities and Exchange Commission lawsuit that accused him of cheating Twitter Inc. investors when he missed a deadline in 2022 to disclose his growing stake in the company.

U.S. District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan's approval comes after she said in May that the deal raised "red flags" - including whether the world's richest person was getting "special treatment" from the Trump administration.

She continued to express skepticism Wednesday, saying the court would accept the settlement "despite its significant misgivings."

"In approving the parties' proposed consent judgment, the court stresses that its role is limited," Sooknanan wrote."That means that the court may not step in the shoes of the SEC, notwithstanding that the SEC's decision-making in this case raises red flags.""

He was given a 5 dollar fine, essentially. Isnt that nice?

Apparently become routine now with the DoJ now being led by people that kinda despise the idea of the DoJ even really going after corporate crime.

Trump appointees are overruling DOJ lawyers scrutinizing corporate mergers

Criminal prosecutors were left shocked and confused last year when Woodward said he had doubts about the government’s ability to investigate and prosecute corporate crime in several areas beyond antitrust — and remarked that there was no prison large enough to imprison a corporation, according to two other people with knowledge of his comments.

Some attorneys who heard Woodward’s remarks were flummoxed. DOJ has charged corporations and corporate officers with federal crimes in thousands of cases, often leading to prison time for officers and fines and legally required remedies for the corporations.

I mean, kinda funny considering Grok is just ChatGPT he tried to brainwash into being rightwing. And AIs in general stole a bunch of stuff to be trained. I know it wasnt illegal, but still funny.

Anyway, Idk why people think its not possible to have GPUs in space. No one I trust thinks its impossible, they mostly say its currently not worth it and is obviously immoral. Price will go down with time, and its not like they care if its moral.

It's possible. It's just a really dumb idea. With what you'd be spending just to get them up there, you wouldn't be using GPUs anyway, but ASICs specifically designed for the task. You don't have the space for a few city blocks of GPU racks in space. Even then the heat dissipation issues would remain.
