what? no? I hate Jeet's, which I offhand mentioned, I'm just baffled by communists, I undrerstand them completely, but its always amusing and awe striking how they want everyone that isn't a perfect communist dead more than they want actual communism.
Huh it's almost like Communism is a bullshit philosophy that doesn't fucking work. But that couldn't possibly be it could it?
Communism is a criminal ideology

We're getting a blue wave I'm afraid.
I’ve been saying this since Trump got elected. I obviously held hope and wanted him to do great but that isn’t happening. It’s why I’ve been telling any of my buddies who actually are working behind the scenes in politics that they need to start distancing themselves from Trump and MAGA as a whole if we actually want to retain a majority or at least have equal say and not have a loss as bad as 2006 in the house and senate. The fact is, even if Trump bluffs, people are so rabid towards anything he says that the best thing he could do is honestly moderate himself (which isn’t going to happen but is certainly a nice pipe dream).

The past few weeks have really felt like the beginning of the end for MAGA. Only a matter of time before President AOC sentences the movement to the most forgotten corners of history.

How can it be the beginning of the end if MAGA is dead? Fatpacks, do you not actually know the meaning of the words you type? It's okay, you can tell us, we won't judge.

Okay, maybe a little, but nothing you can't handle.

I still remember when The Outer Worlds were being hyped up as the next New Vegas.

The American game industry is incredibly skilled at never retaining developers for any reason, especially after they make something good. The last thing they ever want is to keep talent around or keep a skilled team together. No sir.

There is only video games I play and most connected to our current political times:
1. Deus Ex - Where I sip my coffee and chuckle, thinking "Oh ho ho ho, they got it so right. Right on the money, including when I go into the womens bathroom at work and shoot a crossbow at the toilet"

They were still hyping themselves as the Studio that made Fallout New Vegas when they tried to sell Outer Worlds 2. They only survived the purges because they made New Vegas and we're forced to dump all their current projects(Avowed 2 and a Shadowrun game) and start making a new Fallout game 5 years too late

This is also why one of the reasons they always want to use standardized engines like Unreal Engine, because a standardized engine allows for standardized developers which falls in line with the Boomers' and HR ladies' religious belief in Tabula Rasa, that people are just interchangeable fungible people-units. And if people are interchangable fungible people-units then you can swap out American developers for Jeets with no difference other than they're cheaper and not white (which is better) and they inherently destroy the employee's ability to negotiate for a fair wage (which is best).

Of course the side effects of this is a complete lack of tribal knowledge, a complete muddying of everything into grey-brown sludge without any unique properties, and failure of anything requiring anything beyond the most basic bitch of introductory skill like optimization or file compression. (Sound familiar?) And god forbid if the fungible people units are not, in fact, just as good as Autistic White Men at creating games, becuase if that was the case, well, every single aspect of modern liberalism would turn out to be based on the Tabula Rasa lie and beyond that, every single thing they touched with this theory would turn to liquid shit really quickly.

I actually think Bethesda kept their shitty in house engine specifically because it made it impossible for Microsoft to do this to them. Oblivion Remastered shows that this bulwark has failed; the layoffs this week confirm it.
