The biggest crime Platner committed in the eyes of the DNC is that he's polling poorly. This is just like the California jungle primaries.

The Democrats are willing to grant provisional absolution for any conventional sin, including rape and murder (or both, in either order). But there are two things which are unforgiveable in their eyes:

1. Standing in the way of someone who is higher on the oppression totem pole and has the support of the Party; and
2. Failing to bring in enough money.
