Recently I have experienced the Gen Z stare and it's unnerving. No hello, just staring like you're inconveniencing them to buy a product. I get cashiering sucks but you have a job, at least look like you're not retarded. Scratch that, at least retarded people are friendly and do their job.

It's even worse in a loud and fast paced environment where you have to shout to be able to talk to your co-workers and these niggers have their earbuds in listening to tunes or talking to people on the phone. It's okay if you can manage it, but you're still there to do a job.

Most customer service jobs are fine, because most customers just want to get their shit and leave. The worst customers on an average day are the ones who ignore you and act like they own the place so they bump into you or cut you off.

Bad coworkers with shitty attitudes that constantly complain make 15$ an hour wagie jobs unbareable.

Some Apple AirPods can be used as FDA approved hearing aids. I’ve heavily considered them for that because they are much cheaper then dedicated hearing aids, but the design is literally inappropriate for most situations where I would actually want hearing aids. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people are using AirPods as hearing aids even if it makes them look like asshole jeets

Sure, you can get dirt cheap “hearing aids” off Amazon or aliexpress, but most of them are simply dumb amplifiers. Modern FDA approved hearing aids have audio processing features that can filter out background noise and make speech much clearer and easier to understand, but they are rather expensive due to the extreme processing abilities squeezed into them. AirPods can function at near the same level and cheaper because they have more internal volume and Apple has economies of scale on their aside. If you’re seeing a cheap hearing air, there’s a good chance it’ll just amplify background noise like cars driving past and you won’t hear shit.

Yes. I am coming to terms with this fact. Unfortunately, outside of working with the glowies, cybersecurity isn't taken that seriously in the UK outside of gambling and finance.

Things have changed since I worked in retail, but it's rude no matter what station and job one has. There's no way to look polite with one in or like it's a hearing aid and a tool. They come off as self important.

I sometimes teach at a buxiban school. Low pay, but was a psychologically rewarding use of my evenings, helping the next generation and all that. There is very much a “if you don’t use it, you lose it” with a lot of functions. To take it a step further, there are millions of kids that never learned how to write a paper on their own.

My work blocked AI for cybersecurity reasons. The interns we had last year would not do their jobs without AI. One intern cried. Another one just quit. Rather than try to figure it out. Keep in mind these were students with at or near 4.0 GPAs in engineering. It was a real eye opener for us. For this summer’s interns, we were up front that AI could not be used so we’ll see how this goes.

And here I am, not even that far into my engineering degree yet, machining my own tools to work on a gas turbine engine I bought on eBay because you need proprietary factory tools from the 1960s to open the compressor case and those are unobtainium while the engineers at my job are just like those interns or worse, poojeets. Shit like this is why I and so many others resent college. I'm more qualified to be an engineer than them but I can't be one until I give up nearly a decade of my life and tens of thousands of dollars for a sheet of paper. It's just an extortion racket at this point.

One I love even more is when you're buying in-house bakery goods or unpackaged fruits/vegetables. If the checkout doesn't have that exact product in its searchable list it has one which when selected throws an error and locks you out until an attendant comes by. Plus sometimes the listed SKU on the shelf can be wrong so circumventing it by remembering/writing it down and manually entering it yourself doesn't get you away from still needing the damn attendant.


I've completely given up going to convenience stores for this reason. Only a few years back I'd go to my neighbourhood's local one for snack crap, but everything is now locked up thanks to "teens" and druggies, there's only ever a couple of clerks around, and you're waiting 5-10 minutes just to get what you're after even with no one else in the store given how many different keys must be used for each isle.

Most schooling consisted of knowing about something without actually having any way to put it to use. The only useful stuff I learned was from an elderly teacher that used his own experience to explain how an actual work environment functioned (he quit/got fired in a year due to not wanting to change his teaching style). In Europe the majority of higher education teachers are failures in their own respective fields because otherwise they would have gotten an actual job instead. It's kinda sad how a lot of my time was wasted by lessons that consisted only of a retarded teacher reading from a PowerPoint that was made in 2016.

We almost need a system where we basically get rid of our current form of higher education, and have some sort of system in place where all training is done by actual and successful people working in the field.

I think there is a subset of goo people that boomers are right about, definitely not the majority, but I know Goy Cattle like this, I think the problem is that a lot of the people who are “mad” or care about that stupid shit the boomers say, aren’t like that. The Goy Cattle don’t care, because they don’t think about it, it literally never enters there mind or feed, and if it does they push it out because it makes them uncomfortable. Most zoomers that are mad do care, one of the problems is that a lot of them are upper middle class, and on a downwardly mobile trajectory from where there parents/grandparents were, and especially if they work in a white collar industry, they aren’t going to be able to give you good advice, because the landscape has totally changed, and all the notions “do what make you happy” are retarded, because you will remain downwardly mobile if you do decide to open a game store or become a poet or a historian or some shit. When they were young you could do that, but that time is unfortunately over for now. You need to seek out advice or a mentor who is someone who is maybe late 40’s-early 60’s who either built an actual business, or who is upwardly mobile, and isn’t resting on there laurels
