It's not that he's stupid, he simply does not care. If you thought Destiny has this burning passion for leading canvassing events, you're dead wrong. Steven only wants the clout of these canvassing efforts while minimizing the amount of work he personally has to contribute, so don't be suprised to find out that he's perfectly happy giving erudite free reign.

A similar thing happened during the Progressive Victory canvassing by the way. The people actually busting their asses arranging the event were not happy with the direction they were going and that a lot of money was being paid out to ecelebs who barely did any work. Destiny, of course, was only there to try to scout out fans that he could fuck but was otherwise totally disinterested and disengaged.

Also, since this post might attract some DGGers into the thread, let me remind everyone that Destiny handed over a wad of cash to a bunch of Indians to help him edit the J6 documentary he was working on, only for the Jeet to run away with the money. Destiny sure has a pattern of leveraging the efforts of his fans + their money only to leave them out to dry once things go south when he fails to provide proper oversight. What a passionate political operator! (those @ninjahealer posts were all deleted by the way, I could only find a few quote artifacts. I hope someone managed to archive them.)

You make it sound like tiny is an absent landlord and there are squatters in his property, but we might see that differently here. He may have been a little more focused and lucid at some point, but his lifestyle has pushed away anyone who might make a canvassing endeavor like DGG remain faithful to its original purpose. And he himself is probably disconnected from such a thing.

Politicians practically never believe a word they say. Their beliefs, opinions, convictions (pun intended) and votes are bought & paid for well in advance. In the NGO sphere (which political pundits like Destiny orbit), enemies cheerfully pay each other regularly just to put on a good show. It's all about making money and swaying public opinion.

Pretty sure that's what alot of political groups are like at this point. Most of the work is done by volunteers who actually care about what they are talking about and then the organizations top dogs get a paid vacation to fly around and go to events and pay influencers and celebrities to hang out with them. The actual grassroots political movement and talking with the common man and woman doesn't get clicks or views and it certainly doesn't allow for them to go on fun vacations disguised as something beneficial for the organization.
