I got my old mountain bike out and started cycling up and down the canals. I used to cycle a lot; after a week I was doing 30 round trips.

I don't think I can do the centuries every weekend like I did in my 20s, but I can definitely bang out 60-100 miles over a weekend. I am not super in shape either. I am just doing some basic exercise.

Yep. A lot of the heavy lifting is being done by the Claude extension in VSCode. It's really insane how much of a productivity boost it is.
Extremely highly recommended if anyone else wants to turn their a-logging dreams in to reality.
I use Claude Code on the CLI and it's utterly insane how productive it is in the hands of even just a decent developer, let alone a good one.
Not only does it make developing faster, but also makes it viable to develop multiple things in parallel- most of the Jeralyzer was done in the background while I'm working my real job! The $100/mo subsidized plan is so generous that I can constantly work on like 3 projects full blast with a comfy amount of tokens left over- sometimes I just make shit just to use as much as I can, I feel like there's no way this lasts too much longer and I want to make cool shit while it does.
I've seen what Jer does when he gets a stubbed toe or a pulled muscle, he cries like a bitch, he doesn't know pain.
I had a hernia from one side of my lower stomach/groin area to the other, and had to have full surgery where they pull your muscles apart and put a sheath in, and the muscle pain post surgery is honestly breath taking, sure there is worse, but everything you do uses your god damn stomach muscles, he isn't fucking ready.

I wouldn't be surprised if he actually is the sort of person who malingers on purpose given how he has absolutely no sense of morality. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he's faking an injury so that he doesn't have to do any more work publicly.
