He isn't getting the expensive cards from pack openings. He scans anything he is unfamiliar with and thinks might be worth even the tiniest amount of money so when he gets a legit "hit" it is sprinkled in between cards that he scanned but aren't worth anything e.g.

Saw this on Meerkat's stream, someone found Phil's Rare Candy profile which was confirmed by the Jamming Tower he just scanned on stream getting added. It explains a lot, like why he is so weird about opening his binders or the "bulk" codes he got on "discount". For fucks sake, last night he "pulled" $500 Reshiram ex offstream. The addiction is real and possibly far worse than any of us could've imagined.

You could basically confirm he spent $5k on this shit before this leaked lol. I would say IF he bought the singles and did everything as efficient as possible we are looking at DSP being $20k deep on Pokemon.

If he didn't buy the singles and just went full #YOLO well... I don't even think I could post a real number that isn't 6 digits.

This also explains why he got super defensive today out of nowhere when someone asked if he could show what cards he’s pulled off camera.

So I did more digging and apparently there are some cards that he scanned but are not on the rare candy profile, like this Toucannon in the DSP Pulls it #4. It should be right before the Amarouge he pulls in the next episode, so there could be even more that we don't know about for whatever reason. I also went through the first few streams and the listed order doesn't match the pulls (e.g. the Venusaur is shown first but the Latias was scanned on an earlier stream).

Looking at a video you have to manually hit Add for it to go into your collection even after you see the price so he could've fucked that up. Based on him only using the scanning function and not doing the set tracking or any of the other stuff that he isn't using on his profile I really think he just had no idea this shit was public like you said earlier and maybe doesn't even know it can do anything besides price check.

This IS DSP we are talking about, so he probably doesn't even know that menu option exists because he only scans with it (and sometimes uploads). He's been open about using Rare Candy, my guess is that he'll turn it into a "joke" and simply not upload his hits from offstream pulls.
