An active duty Air Force major was arrested Wednesday after he publicly called for the impeachment of President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance outside the nation's Capitol building.

"When the President of the United States orders military action against foreign countries, absent an emergency scenario, where American interests are under imminent, dire threat -- as was done with Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran -- that's an unconstitutional usurpation of Congress' authority, and a violation of the War Powers Clause," Air Force Major Jason Watson said in part. "These violations resulted in the deaths of 13 service members, and injuries of hundreds more."

"For this, the president and vice president must be impeached, convicted, and removed," Watson added.

Watson later stood on the Capitol steps holding a sign that said "Impeach. Convict. Remove." Video shows him being arrested by Capitol Police.

He was arrested in an area that is open to the public, but where protesting is prohibited.

If he’s going to prison I think they revoke his commission entirely and make his ass airman basic

All this nigga had to do was shut up and color and he’d get his fat ass pension but he just had to make a stand which changed nothing and will be raped for this
If I remember correctly, in the military you can protest, just not in uniform. So this retard just had to be in civilians attire, but of course, he couldn't virtue signal about getting kicked out of the military if he did that.

Pretty much. As long as you're off-duty and not in uniform and not identifying as a serviceman and not breaking any laws, .mil says protest to your heart's delight. But as soon as you do any of those things like protest while on-duty or while in uniform or identify to the world that you're a serviceman or break any laws while you're protesting it's your ass and the JAG prosecutor WILL go out of his way to wreck your life.

The flip side of that coin is politicians aren't supposed to use you as a backdrop or prop while campaigning but the brass doesn't have the balls to say "no, you're not using my men that way" because anyone who has an eagle or stars on his shoulder wants more stars and will suck up to get them.

They left out the best part. Attending Major Dumbass's suicide party on the capital steps and also speaking before the arrest was representative Al Green. This is the loudmouth black guy with his gold pimp cane who is usually in the background when house democrats are doing something really stupid.

Al Green needs to cut down on the threats against Charles Sumner. (History buffs, IYKYK)

Nigger's about to get a dishonorable discharge.
Yes, he will be court-martialed and dismissed from the service. For an officer, that's the same as a dishonorable discharge. No pension, no veterans' benefits. 17 years in and he throws it all away, for nothing. He can rest assured Al Green can do nothing to save him.

This disgrace to the uniform, same one I so proudly wore, is a logistics officer, no aircrew wings. Decorations look pretty standard, counted four individual decorations, the one at the top and the three in a row right under it. All the rest of the ribbons were the "I was there" type. Don't recognize some of the ribbons but I have been retired for 27 years.

His employment options after being kicked out of the service will be slim and none. If he is married, hope his wife has a good job and they have no kids. Otherwise, that family's fucked, and I feel very sorry for the family.

His base pay is $10,401.60/month. He also gets $316/month food allowance for himself, should also be collecting a hefty housing allowance, both non-taxable. Had he waited just three more years he would likely have gotten a pension of at least $5200/month. Retirement system has changed many times over the years, for the sake of argument use the system I am in - 50% of base pay at 20, then extra 2.5% for every year after that.

A major with 17 years in, unless he has prior enlisted time, would normally not be on active duty as a regular officer. Assuming no enlisted time, four years to captain from commissioning, then six or seven years to major after making captain, so that's 10-11 years. Once you make major, you come into the primary zone for lieutenant colonel about three years after making major, so 13-14 years. The AF is up-or-out. If you don't make lieutenant colonel in the primary zone, you get one more shot 'above the zone' the next year. If you don't make it then, and the odds are slim, you normally have to leave the service or retire if you have enough time in thanks to prior enlisted time. With 17 years in, this guy would seem to have some enlisted time.

We saw the video a while back of the airman who set himself on fire. Least his demise was quick. This fuckwagon will likely have many years to regret his public career suicide. Lofty ideals don't put food on the table or a roof over your family's head. And doing this publicly means no high-up former boss can take him in and stash him in a not-shit job until he makes 20 years.

Makes me sick to my stomach thinking how someone can fuck his family over this way; think I may have seen a wedding ring on his hand.

IMO we should punish officers by forcing them to be enlisted for a few years.
Oh my god, it would be hilarious to see some Major handed a toothbrush and a rag and told to get to work scrubbing every corner in the barracks in a G.I. Party. Or have to use the Floor Buffer. And tell him the CSM will be by in ten minutes and is looking for asses to chew.

Way to make yourself look like more of a fool than the guy who lit himself on fire.

At least ol' Burnin' Bushnell didn't live to see a court martial.

(but he did give us the grade-A comedy of a security guard handcuffing a charred skeleton)

Última edición:
He’s probably figuring on (or already been promised) a Dem political career or media role. They’ve been absolutely desperate for an active duty officer to do exactly this. One finally bit.
The Officer Corps has been pozzed since Obama. And like all things since Obama, the Dems been banking on never having considered losing an election, and presumed they were on the cusp of a Progressive Thousand Year Reich.
It never once crossed their minds that Republicans would win an election again.

When you sign up for the military, you are agreeing to obey the orders of the current administration, regardless of whether you like them or voted for them. When you take that oath and sign that contract, you are Uncle Sam's bitch.

And bashing the CoC while in uniform gets you courtmartialed for a reason. Encouraging hesitation or dissent can spread across the ranks like a staph infection.

I dont see whats wrong with not glazing a senile pedophile
You see...that's the thing, he isn't in trouble because he didn't glaze a senile pedophile. He's in trouble because he violated article 88 of the UCMJ on the steps of the capitol while in uniform. And he did it in front of cameras.

Can you see why this requires an official response and punishment to prevent future dissension within the ranks based on who likes the current president?

This might happen in Leavenworth, the military prison where officers are sent. Suggest this major won't be sentenced to any confinement, just dismissed, which will be even worse for him.

Man, I am seeing all kinds of liberals posting about this like it is the greatest thing ever. They think this guy is a true and honest hero. Well, they think wrong! This guy is a dumbass. This is all performative and will change nothing. But it will ruin his career and he will lose his pension and all his military benefits. He may even spend some time at Leavenworth, as others have said. All of this cause "orange man bad".

And screw Al Green for using this guy in such a way. He was cool being a part of a service member near retirement throwing his career away for a political stunt. If I were in Congress, no way would I ever use a service member in such a way. I would do everything to talk a service member out of doing something like this. I would tell him; don't throw away 17 years of honorable service. If you need to resign your commission or apply for conscientious objector, do that and at least keep your veterans benefits. After you're out of the service and you want to do this out of uniform, then do that.

And people will forget this guy's name in about a month. But that dismissal from service lasts forever.

Least of his worries. Also, it's a distinction without a difference but only enlisted can be dishonorably discharged. Officers can only be punitively dismissed which functions as a virtual equivalent.
Officers are held to a higher standard. A dipshit private will just get kicked out for UCMJ violations. An officer however risks hard time at Leavenworth.
