Stop fucking coping. We lost.

This sheboon is laughing at us as we speak.

We deserve nothing but the worst.

We don't have a country anymore.

The 4th of July is cancelled.

We really do deserve the worst, don't we?

This entire administration has been for nothing.

The orange retard has actively hurt America by remaining in office,.

Shut the fuck up and go pack some more fat, nigger. Even if the country is truly 1000% doomed, the American tradition is to go down swinging to the bitter end anyway going back to the Alamo, not to roll over and take it like a bitch.

new Fishback drama, apparently he was voting up in DC until very recently despite needing to have your primary in Florida for seven years

Jay Collins campaign files legal challenge to James Fishback’s eligibility for governor

TAMPA, Fla. — The Jay Collins for Governor campaign on Monday filed a legal challenge to James Fishback’s eligibility as a candidate for Florida governor, asking a Leon County court to declare that Fishback does not meet the Florida Constitution’s seven-year residency requirement.

The complaint, filed in Leon County Circuit Court, argues that public records show Fishback cannot satisfy the constitutional mandate that a governor must have resided in Florida for the seven years preceding the election. According to the filing, between 2020 and 2026 Fishback registered to vote and voted in Washington, D.C., purchased property there, signed mortgage documents declaring it his principal residence, and received a D.C. Homestead Deduction tied to his domicile and principal residence in the District.

Federal law imposes criminal penalties for knowingly making false representations on mortgage documents, the complaint says.

“We can’t afford to play games with Florida’s Constitution that would end up handing the Governor’s Mansion to Democrat David Jolly on August 19,” Lt. Gov. Jay Collins said in a statement. “James Fishback has spent months telling Florida Republicans his polls show him in first place and that he meets Florida’s constitutional residency requirements. If he’s telling the truth, then this lawsuit should be the easiest thing he’s done all campaign. If Fishback is lying, then it’s Florida Republicans who have nothing to worry about, because they won’t end up nominating someone who isn’t even constitutionally eligible to serve as governor.”

The lawsuit seeks an expedited resolution and asks the court to order relief required by Florida law, including removing Fishback from the ballot or, at a minimum, ensuring that votes cast for him will not count.

Fishback, the controversial Republican candidate for governor who owns property in Washington, D.C., has previously denied claims that he fails to meet the residency threshold.

The Florida Constitution, Article IV, Section 5(b), requires that the governor, when elected, must be “an elector not less than thirty years of age who has resided in the state for the preceding seven years.”

Both Collins and Fishback are among several Republicans challenging Trump-endorsed frontrunner U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds in the GOP primary. They are also both lower-polling candidates in the race.

The Republican primary for governor is Aug. 18.

I’d rather it be solved that way. It’s way harder to undo. One bad SCOTUS ruling can be undone by a future SCOTUS ruling, especially if it’s not codified into law. Democrats were extremely complacent when Roe v Wade passed, assuming it was going to stay forever. It didn’t
They haven't been able to reform immigration in 50 years, what makes you think they will be able to do so now? Especially as it would probably take a new Amendment which would take away rights, which would almost never pass and be ratified by enough States.

Supreme Court Justice Jackson has a concurring opinion that she says she has written "to respond to some of the themes in the principal dissent" -- from Thomas.

She says that his version of the history "elides the entire point of the Second Founding: The Reconstruction Amendments were an anticaste, antisubordination reset for the Nation, not a mere spot treatment for the dark stain of slavery."
Second Founding?

What the fuck kind of historical revisionism is this?

How did you retards even think the 14th was going to be overturned? That the SC would rule that the amendment doesn't say what it clearly says? Jesus, take the troon win already and be happy.
The case was less about the 14th Amendment directly and more about addressing birth tourism that comes from it. In that regard, the Supreme Court has ruled it is permissible in the eyes of the 14th Amendment unless Congress does something about that issue in particular.

Democrats were extremely complacent when Roe v Wade passed, assuming it was going to stay forever. It didn’t
Essientially.

Here is my take after the Birthright decision:

The world hasn't ended, it is just the same as yesterday, status quo maintained, but now Trannies can't play in Women's sports. It'll be interesting what Thomas gives the President the power to circumvent, similar to Brett during the SC Tarriff decision.

Status Quo = maintained

3-pointer missed by Trump the ball is in Congress' hands. But at least we are trying to score in this game of politics now. You miss everyshot you don't take.

From my understanding and reading of the released opinion. It appears that the SC is not making any judgment that further enhances birthright and instead is HOLDING the current application of the 14th Amendment.

This essientially just places it back with Congress to amend the Constitution, which in the long run would be better.

I feel neutral about this as I've stated before it is not a nightmare scenario as some try to push, since it is just the status quo moving forward.
The decision sucks, yes, that is a fact.

But.

It's also just upholding what the status quo is. And we have been able to win under this retardation.

All this means is that we NEED the Save Act now more than ever. And Trump is also using the USPS to not send out mail-in ballots to states not handing over their voter roles helps with securing these elections right now.

If you restrict or ban Mail-in Ballots, (which this decision allows). This makes the decision null, useless, and void.
Additionally, the SC can always come back later and change its mind which is more common than we think (with things like Roe v Wade).

This was expected due to the lack of assassination attempts (sad that, that is a barometer now)

This result was always to be expected and should have been foreseen. Not because no fencing was put up, no. But instead:

Because, unlike Roe V Wade reversal, we didn't have SC members/staff leaking Conservative members' house address, phone numbers, etc... to get them assassinated like they did with Kavanaugh. Reminder NO ONE got punished for this, which tells you it was a justice(s) that did it.

(and don't think for a moment that Amy's heel turn probably wasn't caused by threats of doing just such a thing to her too. My previous post on Trump's biggest mistakes is still evergreen).
This yet again exposes the greatest flaw that Trump has had in his 1st and 2nd terms. Something that may have worked in business but not in politics.

One such flaw that you cannot even state in the polite company of right-wingers without being charged as crazy.

That flaw is (with some outliers):

Getting Women into positions of power that needed a Man.

Every time we replace women with men in his cabinet, the outcomes are immediate and drastically better. The DOJ is an extremely good recent example.

SAVE ACT NOW

All this does is underscore that we NEED the Save Act now more than ever. And people should be motivated to start calling on their representatives to pass it.

With Congress as it is now I see the SAVE Act only being passed with new people in charge.

Thune has an axe to grind with the American people and will not move on this. And is already bitching that even if passed there simply would not be enough time to implement this, acting as if this wasn't on his desk a full year ago.

Final message:

Take your wins, don't black pill and instead become more engaged in politics. Before Trump this would have never been questioned and we would instead be talking about passing MASS Amnesty and Obama's Dreamer programs.

The needle and window is moving and the only way it stops and slides back down towards the left is if people black pill and stop engauging.
