Currently Democrats have no one with broad appeal, without major fuckups/skeletons, or doesn't piss off their vocal (3rd world + trustfund) commie base, and as such, I don't see them winning.

I see a perfect progression like this:

1. Vance+(Rubio or DeSantis)
   1. DeSantis: if he learned from 2024.
   2. Remember Rubio was a surprise hit so I'd roll the dice with him.
2. Rubio + (Miller or DeSantis)
3. Miller + (Fresh face. Possibly Trump Jr)

Note I didn't put DeSantis as a Pres option because we have to see if he performs well first.

The Democrats have nothing currently to run on besides Orange Man bad for the last 10+ years. They've refused at every opportunity to do inventory on their party and realign/remove platforms that are not broadly popular. And they now have a civil war internally with their most vocal base of (3rd worlders + College fucked me over and I want free stuff) people.

If I were Thunne, I would have a serious sit-down with some of the democrats and go.
"You need to be on popular bills, and you need to realign with the broader voters. You know this is popular, don't let us have all the credit for it. And you know that your new problem candidates will not be able to challenge you if this goes through. Support the bill and use that to launch your realignment in your party, and you'll probably win the next presidency."
