I think the issue is that we see a lot people who keep being in the whole "transitioning" / "detransitioning" thing is that they tend to view whatever they do as a brand new journey with an end goal where they'll finally be happy, but life doesn't really have that (until you die). Just think of it as living your best life as comfortably as possible and don't get too caught up in the gender nonsense. God speed.

I don't really have any other trans women as friends unfortunately, and I don't feel supported by my cis friends. I've never been explicitly invited into the women's bathroom so I usually just don't use it when I go out. All my cis women friends usually go in together and leave me behind. I've never really felt very encouraged or like they see me as more than a pity case. I want to basically just ask "please someone show me how to navigate the world as a woman because I missed out as a child" but when I hint at that and try to get someone to understand the response is usually that it feels like I'm trying to make others manage my insecurities for me and that it's too much.
I get the sense that they don't want to stand up for me because they don't want to have to defend me if someone confronts me for being in women's spaces. there's also no sense of solidarity or that they care about how I'm perceived. Nobody has ever given me tips on my hair, makeup, etc, I just get told I "look great" when I know I'm a mess.
At this point I want to beg my friends to me more supportive and make me feel like less of an other but at the same time that feels kinda narcissistic and like I'm forcing them to do what I want, which is a very imposing and patriarchal thing to do. I don't think it would help me be perceived as a woman, more as a man who's asking for too much.
Is it wrong to ask for more support? I'm sick of being left alone in public while everyone else stays together all the time. I get that I'm probably not in as much danger because I'm tall and can probably fight but I don't want to have to. I don't like being left in situations where I have to fend for myself, it gives me a lot of dysphoria.

So usually I avoid talking about trans topics while being stealth. I don't want them to have more doubts, cause I'm already 183cm (6'0) and I never shared pics of me older than like a year old. It's a woke friend group, but still I kept my trans knowledge to a minimum.
So one of my friends casually asks a question about if trans women have the same life expectancy as cis women. Then she added she wondered their biological sex (implying male) might reduce it. Before answering the question I clarified "I'm not the biggest fan of thinking that trans women are biological male, cause after all they medical transitioning and changing their sex charastics."
I think they all understood me and I think I convinced them all.
Then back to the question I just said "I think yeah, cause a estrogen dominated endocrine system in comparison to a testosterone dominated one, makes a better immune system and makes the cells also slow age slower (with the latter one I'm not that sure tbh). But I doubt there are enough studies to back this up at the moment, cause there are not enough old trans women that transitioned in their teens or 20s" Again I think everyone understood my point and thinking I might be right.

My 6 year old has been telling us she’s a girl since she could talk. We’ve always told her she can be whoever she wants to be, for a while she would pick either her girl name or her boy name to go by when we picked her up from school. She was always a boy at school and a girl at home.
Lately she has been sobbing about how she wants to cut off her penis, and how much she hates her boy parts. I don’t know what to do, we’ve told her she has to keep that part of her body healthy for when she can transition, but I’m hoping there’s something more I can do to help her not hate part of her body.
She hasn’t hurt herself, but she has had accidents because she doesn’t want to break a rule and go in the wrong bathroom. We keep telling her that when she goes with a parent either bathroom is ok, and at camp she can use the girls bathroom, but sit instead of stand if she doesn’t want anyone to know about her parts. She’s young and has long hair, so by default people assume she’s a girl (yay!), and at school she’s included by the girls in playtime.
I’m hoping you all have some advice on how help.

It seems like it's that way in literally every subreddit. If I'm not in an explicitly trans subreddit and I see trans women or trans people mentioned I just assume all of the comments will be some vile transphobia.
Never removed, never downvoted, and consistent, unless it's on a specifically trans sub. I always here that redditors are weirdly supportive of trans people and like, I've never seen it outside of a queer space.
